In this video I review the Synthesis Technology E330, a digital VCO module with three modes. This video goes through some patches with audio demonstration, some external delay and reverb used here and there.

I just bought this modules thanks to this fantastic video and I’m mighty impressed with the E330. I have it next to my,much more expensive, hertz donut mk3 and piston honda mk3 and I like it even more. So easy to use,fantastic build quality and dirt cheap used.

I bought one on the strength of your video. I'm no musician, in fact I'm one of the people talked about disparagingly in "i dream of wires". Modulating both wavetables with attenuated lfo's etc I managed to get some very pleasant soundscapes. No filter needed to do that. I love it! Thanks you!

Always wanted an E340 specifically for a trace sound but this can do it just as well plus a billion other things! 100% sold! :D

sasarasa88 got it, FM was nice, but prefer my FM Aid, clouds was too similar to my Super Sawtor and the Wavetables didn't have enough variation for my taste, so I sent it back and got an Erica Black Wavetable VCO instead....😉

Just spent a happy hour patching. 2xlfo,1xvco for fm, 2xvca as attenuators. Used in 2 operator fm mode it sounds incredible. Each mode sounds good but I set the patch up in fm mode. Stockhausen would have loved one of these.

I got lucky with the Roland Filters. I heard some demos, thought they sounded good and bought them and I've been happy ever since. Now they are the reference point for me. The Polaris doesn't do it for me really. But filters are perhaps the most subjective part of a synth, everyone wants something different.

Actually the FM CV in is being used here. I have an extremely short decay envelope plugged in from the Maths2, and what this does is create a sharp but short pitch rise and fall, creating a percussive click.

Looks like just a custom panel. Someone was sick of looking at Make Noise's scribbly, jagged writing. Haha. I'm sure you can buy one of these for your own.
