The 3rd row timing sets the LENGTH of each step. This patch sets the number of BEATS per step. Beats is the number of times the envelopes are fired. How each of these sound depends a lot upon how you have the envelopes set. If they are set with no sustain, then they will be short spikes that occur at the beginning of a note. With the sustain turned up, you'll hear a beat that is as long as the step.

Interesting. Now I have to duplicate this using a Behringer 960, a Doepfer sequential switch and sundry oscillators. Wish me luck!

How can I do this on my Thoughtbox22++. There is no hard sync on the LFO++ modules.

Could I use also a VCA which opens/closes same as the 962 Switch?
