In this video we take you step by step with a new client from beginning to end. We appreciate Kelly allowing us to share her hair loss journey with our audience to let you all know that no matter where you are in this process we are here for you!
Purchasing a wig for the first time can be a daunting and uncomfortable experience if you don't have anyone to help guide you in the process. We would love for everyone to educate themselves and know the questions to ask/answer and what to expect before you ever set foot into a wig salon.

At the beginning I thought using wigs will make me feel sadder than being losing hair and not using a wig but after starting using wigs I feel much happier and confident with myself and the people around me. Thank God for the wigs. I encourage ladies to use them instead of getting more sad about losing hair and complaining like I was before last year when I started using them. This is a new life.

I have experienced hair loss for almost 20 years. For me, it was a slow process. I had very thick and coarser hair when I was young. I actually had too much hair. I am at the point where I wear wigs when I go out. I am working with a Dermatologist, now, who immediately recommended a biopsy. After five Dermatologists she is the first to recommend this. There are different types of hair loss and different ways to treat it. I have Scaring Alopecia. With this type, when you lose hair, the follicles do not recover. I would suggest anyone with hair loss to see a Dermatologist to determine the type of hair loss you have. Some types of hair loss can be treated. I really enjoy this channel; they give excellent reviews and recommendations.

Amazing process! It would have changed EVERYTHING to have this consultation. I did it alone, in shame💔 why was I so ugly and losing my hair??? No self esteem or confidence, researching on my own, wasting hours, money on poor choices and energy as I felt so hopeless! That is all dealt with here, as you kindly support your client, reassuring her she is in control of her decisions and choices. Dee, I had that same shame as if it was somehow a fault or even punishment. It was such an emotional loss. I was a hair stylist for over 20 yrs. and I had beautiful hair. It's been somewhere between 10-15 yrs. that I've had to wear a wig now and the process was so hard in the beginning. It was as if there was no hope until KZbin came into the picture and opened the world of wigs up to me. I never knew how grateful I would be to have the internet in my life! I wear human hair wigs now and as expensive as they are, they last me for 2 yrs. at a time, so it's very much worth it to me. Thanks for commenting. We are all in the same boat so to speak and it helps to read other womens stories.

The first few times I went out in public wearing a wig, I was upset that people were staring at me. I thought OMG they know it's a wig, is something showing!?! I realized after a while, they were looking at my hair (wig) and they were probably liking my hair style. Before I ever thought about a wig I would see a lady, probably close to my age, with all this beautiful hair and I would think "why can't I have the great hair". Jealous. Maybe THEY were wearing a great wig and I didn't know it! LOL! Hopefully you told Kelly to be prepared for stares because she looks stunning! Great video!

Your client is lovely. I think the lighter colors really bring her out. I am remembering how my sister's face lit up the first time she tried on a wig after her first round of chemotherapy. Although 20+ years have passed, it still brings tears to my eyes when I think of how brightly she smiled and couldn't stop looking in the mirror. You guys are great.❤

I need a consultation rather than trying to do this on my own. So hard to judge colors and hairstyles online. You end up spending more money shipping items back that don’t work out as you hoped. Oh, I loved this so much! You ladies are the best! They charge $2 for a cheap wig cap to try on wigs at the salon I visited last. Nice to see the attention you give to your clients. Here is Las Vegas, lots of wig places have a limit of the number of wigs that a person can try on. Usually three is the limit. Gives me a desperate feeling before even trying on. Three strikes I’m out. So sad. Have to say, this customer looked gorgeous in every one of these! I sincerely hope she wears the wigs she decided on. Too many people end up never wearing them which I just don’t understand.

I happened to see this video. I have thinning hair due to thyroid disease. I began wearing wigs in 2009 and my whole life has changed. I was working 24 hour shifts at the hospital and I have to have perfect hair. I am a true Southern woman. I made my family crazy due to my hair. Now I do not care if the wind is blowing, raining or extreme humidity. My life is so simple now. Due to being retired I can not buy as many wigs as I did when working. Believe it or not I just found out about the hair grips about a month ago while watching one of your videos. This lady was just beautiful and I know what she is going through. Bless her.

I think every woman should have at least one good wig for those days when you get up late for work-with a wig, your hair is done in under 2 minutes. No frizzies with the rain or humidity. I love how you instructed her. My consultant was helpful but I never put the wig on myself. When I went back she showed me the wig grip. It's amazing! I now have 9 wigs. 2 are not high quality and never get worn.( off brand.) Others are Henry M,Renee, Esthetica, Noriko, and Raquel. I love her wigs. What the consultant did do was emphasize how to care for and maintain the wigs. It has let me extend the life dramatically. I really love how you present your videos. Only been following you for maybe a month but you are hands down my favorite, now!

I stumbled upon this video today. You ladies are providing a wonderful service and doing a phenomenal job! I so wish I were close enough to make a visit. This is EXACTLY what I have wished for ever since I started exploring toppers/wigs almost 2 years ago. I know I would have already made a purchase if I could only find some guidance and support. I bought a wig online that looked fantastic. It was $85 so cheap I guess but when I got it it was NOTHING like the picture. Loved watching this. I had an unexplained thinning, and my hair just wouldn't grow in length. I attributed it to preprocessing, stress, etc. For 4 months, I let my hair rest wearing wigs with a wig grip to protect my natural hair, while on a regimen of collagen, Biotin, etc via Viviscal. My hair is now recovered, and I only wear wigs for fun. They are right about taking a picture. When you're doing this by yourself, it's the best way to get an accurate view.
