Anyone try out the Proton? It looks like they got rid of most of the things that underwhelmed me, and doubled up on everything else. Two LFOs, more envelops, and I really wanna check out that wave folder. Ahh! But they got rid of the sample and hold! sheeeeeeiiiittt... can't win em all.. we're getting close to deal breaker territory with that one.

Completely agree. Here in the UK we’ve U turned on the Proton and bought up the Neutron instead. I adore the Neutron and was planning on getting another to polychain pan left, right. PS awesome channel, subscribed! 🍻👍

I just looked up a demo... that square wave is some absolute filth that I need. And I want that reverb. I need some of that cosmic reverb in my life. Reverb with some CV control is like next level shit.

I received the reissued NYX last Friday; requires basic assembly. Once connected you will have an immediate affair behind your Neutron’s back. THE cleanest, deepest and fattest sounding oscillators i have ever heard - it’s a truly beautiful synth. I hope one day you treat yourself to one and consider having a threesome with your Neutron 🚀

The para phony on it didn't bother me until I played the Odyssey, which was so good. Neutron para phony is twitchy and odd. Also, I agree that the delay circuit is pretty average - just a generic digital delay would have been superior.

100% A more precise and clean digital delay would have been more useful in this case. The paraphonic mode on this is hard for me to get over. I can sort of manage and play differently, but yeah..

You might be right.. it needed some tone options in general and it would probably be a decent delay.
