Why am I confused by all of these videos? The conductor is just for show, right? Is this actually live? She doesn't seem in sync with the music and her gestures are all over the place. I don't see consistency in her cues. It's just weird. I don't know... seems like maybe they're playing to a click track and she's just for show.

@@Monikarioka7I'm not discounting her energy. She's definitely into it. But as a musician, I find her conducting hard to follow and I'm not seeing her attacking beats as heard. It's like she's up there dancing, but not actually conducting. The rhythms she's denoting don't match what we're hearing. So that's why I ask. It's not just me... an average random who knows nothing about the topic... but someone who has conducted bands, had bands, played in bands, written for bands... so it just looks odd to me.
