Edit: also the latest GUMI voicebank are trained from the same recordings that is used by Vocaloid 6. You can look up KZbin for the comparison, it's not even close.

@Euthyphro playsD&D first of all we are on youtube and that profile picture can be seen by absolutely anyone, even kids, this isnt like twitter and second my point is that the videos in the playlist are intentionally suggestive and even sexual videos of miku. miku is 16 and regardless of if they claim she is “depicted as an adult” in the videos this person states miku is their favorite and she is canonically 16 as a character, and they are actively sexualizing her, do you really not see anything wrong with that..????

When it comes to vocal synths, I can understand why some people explicitly want the robotic voice. I personally prefer more realistic synths, but more than that what I want is versatility. There are some recent banks that are very impressive, and even better, can produce a variety of tones. I really like this tuning tho, because even tho you can hear the voice buzz on the consonants, it's got so much *expression* in it. I adore the articulation and the vocal fry. I love how she doesn't sound unsteady but still has that non-perfect vocalization and gives vocal sounds their character. I also think the cross-lang synthesis in SynthV is amazing. I don't know how it does it haha

Compared to some of the other voicebanks in SynthV, Cangqiong sounds very unique as she has a very mature tone and doesn't sound as cutesy like some of the other voicebanks. I really adore her voice and can't wait for her full AI release! ^^

I'm definitely excited for the future of the MEDIUM5, I love this training, as it fully preserves the power of a VB Standard with a conventional recording method, and mixes Artificial Intelligence, with an exceptional fluidity, I would like to see more VB's integrated merely by re-sampling samples taken directly from their VB Standard, but yes, even if temporary the future looks promising for the Quadimension team. Many thanks to Ddiccky for giving us the chance to dazzle what we've always longed for. Quick and brief explanation of this demo: Cangqiong will have a new VB in English (?) A= Not really, she uses Cross-lingual Singing Synthesis technology, which gives her the ability to sing in Chinese, Japanese, and English natively. What is Cangqiong AI Plus? A= It is a beta, which uses voice samples from Cangqiong's standard voice bank to train an AI training model.

Synthesizer V Studio Pro has an update that allows AI-voicebanks to sing in foreign languages - such as Cangqiong as a Chinese voice to function with English texts without having to do the phonetics-workaround.

Would you consider Cangqiong on the same stage as Solaria or Anri? I am looking into one or two female singers as well as a male singer. For the male singer, I am almost locked on Kevin. Cangqiong sound fluent in this song which is great.

Out of all released voices, Solaria is probably the best. Cangqiong AI is still not released, and unfortunately, it doesn't seem like she'll release anytime soon :(
