Weiqi (also known as Baduk in Corea, and Go in Japan) is one of the oldest games that we are still playing today, even older than chess. I understand that weiqi is more than just a game, as part of their history and culture. Amazing song, and the video is very beautiful.

Personally I think the song is implying AlphaGo (the bionic girl near the ending of this video). Go is very difficult among all board games, requires an incredible computation power (or intelligence) to play. For a long time, no AI player can match human professional players. Some people has even thought there is no way to make a powerful Go AI on electronic computer. But AlphaGo has changed that. The early version of AlphaGo learned from many known human game records and beated all human top players. The only exception is the round that Lee Sedol has won with a really narrow margin. Lee Sedol is the first, and maybe the last human player who beat AlphaGo. The later version, AlphaZero, doesn't require any human knowledge. It playing games against itself, and beated all older version of AlphaGo with 100% probability, on only a single PC. So, some Go players called AlphaZero 'God-like'. Now many professional Go players are learning from AI and reached a new level. Even if the AI is god-like, it doesn't destroy professional human players, it leads them.

Weiqi is actually way more complicated than just a board game…I remember a famous player in history died while playing because that game took too long and needs too much brain cells to work out the right way…Its a thing that is related to philosophy and bunch of complicated stuff.
