【SYNTHV COVER】Animal (MILGRAM Remix)【Kasane Teto AI】

So like, I really like this remix, and I think Amane's VA is awesome in it, I just don't love that the character is 12. That's what made me go "hey, it'd be fun to try making a cover of it!". This was never intended as a "replacement" for the original remix because of the age thing, I don’t want to moral grandstand, I just wanted to have a go at it to see what I could do. This cover ended up being hell to make. If you know the Simpsons scene where Sideshow Bob steps on all the rakes, that was me, I stepped on every possible rake. First this was supposed to be Teto's anniversary cover for April, but you can see this is clearly uploaded in July. I lost all my mixing progress and let go of it for awhile. I got back into it recently and oh my god things got worse. Mixing... oh my god, the mixing... KZbin compression is a wild beast. The KZbin and SoundCloud uploads are straight up just entirely different because they have to be to sound listenable. It also took ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FOUR FILE RENDER REVISIONS to get it in this state. I don't even want to get into what kind of nonsense the video gave me, but there's a reason why half of it has nicer text than the rest and there's just nothing I could do about it. Every rake stepped on I swear to god. The only exception was the art was another splendid experience with Ladymew. Everyone around me during the past two weeks has known how much this cover has tortured me. Now I can finally rest (until The Purge March is hopefully due). :plop:
