@@Hina132 Basically, Kep1er was initially only meant to be active for 2½ years before the members would split and go their separate ways (as is typical for project groups like this). However, the companies of 7 of the members agreed to let them continue in Kep1er, while Mashiro and Yeseo's company (they're from the same company) didn't want them to continue. Therefore they will be leaving the group in July, but the others will keep going.

I can only IMAGINE how the girls must be feeling. Thinking they weren’t going to renew, to renewing without Yeseo and Mashiro to now getting their 1st win on what was to be their disbandment song on their final project as a 9 member group. As Kep1ians we’ve all struggled watching the treatment of these girls and all kinda hoped they’d leave.. at the same time I’m so happy that it was Kep1er to become the first survival group to renew. The amount of talent in the group is crazy and I’m so happy to continue to watch them perform.

I think that if the group was very popular, the record labels would simply become greedy and want to keep the members for their own projects and to get greater benefits from them. So their lower popularity probably benefited them in that way so they can renew the contract

I feel that some international fans fuel the hatred towards the girls as well, and the hatred started basically from the beginning of the series of Girls Planet 999.
