okay, first of all lets take analysis on what both do in each points: each point is what effectiveness is each in about 10 each including range damage and combo capability and etc so lets start: 1. given that dragon trident has more range its stuns and damage are both good the stuns are pretty good including its damage capability dragon trident ratings: stun: 8/10 solo sword comboing: 7/10 range: 9/10 capability of comboing w other fruits: 10/10 2. given that gravity has mid range and its pull ability are both good so, the stuns are pretty good but the range is only short. gravity cane ratings: stun: 8/10 solo sword comboing: 9/10 range: 5/10 capability of comboing w other fruits: 10/10 now lets move on lets see what moves do they do: dragon trident Z: it has good stuns and can turn off observation (weakness: kentrickable and aoe ) X: it has super nice stuns and can turn off observation while not kentrickable (if you jump them) and its water fall drops and disables observation and can counter kentrick (weakness: only a bit kentrickable) overall: 9/10 gravity cane Z: its good for people whos mid range and is good to start a combo as it disables observation haki when hit (weakness: mid rang and only is good for close combos like portal) X: its has a good stun while enabling alot of damage then it make them go down to do a solo combo. (weakness: kentrickable if you time it correctly) overall ill explain how the solo comboing works: when your about to use the 2 moves altogether while doing a combo. so dragon trident wins!

most of the time dragon trident x does less damage than gravity cane z because gravity cane z only does one hit and when u hit it its pretty much done but dragon trident x its easy to minimize the enemies damage and to counter the gravity cane u need to have good prediction and know when a gravity cane z is coming and it doesnt really matter if you do miss the z because of its really i mean really short cooldown and if u got someone in ur god human C and u have either the fruit rumble or portal u can use it as a combo starter for gravity cane dragon trident its hard to do that the combo: portal combo 1: godhuman c portal F gravity cane z godhuman x z gravity cane x for rumble its pretty much the same and also i respect ur opinion for 1v1:cane for teamers:equal bc gravity cane is likely to do more damage damage=turning on v4 faster and dragon trident easier to hit for grinding:dragon trident no need to explain for sb hunting:trident bc u are able to hit all the little dragon heads thing dealing way more damage than cane for trials:overall gravity cane because It has so many obstacle the trident x is likely to flip dealing so little damage gravity cane can catch hackers since hackers cant tp away in trials

These two swords are both very good at pvp It just depends at your playstyle and ping for example You are more comfortable to pvp with weapons with big hitboxes or have high ping the use dragon trident. But if you have good ping and you like to pvp and practice your aim skill and mobility use gravity cane. Note: Gravity cane Z sometimes has delay so I reccomend using it with a good ping/FPS

It depends on what situation ur in honestly, Dragon Trident is really good against teamer or a spammer such as kitsune without transformation, a portal v spammer, and more, its really good but its weak in air, and Grav cane is better for combos and close range and in air, both are really good, it depends on how you use it

top 5 swords rn #1 Grav cane (wins in the air were dragon trident is weaker in air) #2 dragon trident (for obvious reasons) #3 Shark Anchor (X move huge aoe that combo starts, Z move ken break combo extender) #4 TTK (its higher then CDK bc its combo is harder to ken trick plus dragon cyclone still hits you even if your not close to it) #5 CDK (the OG combo god that deals alot of damage) edit: with enchants + max mastery these swords are even better and deal even more dmg, imo swords rn are better then almost all fruits besides the op beast ones like Kitsune transform and T-rex can use alot of these swords to help with combos, only reason swords arent the best thing in the game is bc of chop, with out chop swords would be the best thing in this game and with portal/rumble swords are just in such a good spot rn.

I just realized that gravity cane z is the opposite of gravity z. So it could be a good combo finisher if you use cane z, then gravity z to push them away. But the stats would have to be fruit main.

I personally haven't used dragon trident but judging from otger players and youtubers I'd say dragon trident and gravity cane are equal but personally for ne I use gravity cane because it's a good support sword and all around a good sword to use because of its combo potential. It's a good enough substitute for spikey trident you just got to get use to its short range so soul guitar and stun fruits pair well with it.
