I mean that's not what you're forced to do with the tac shotgun though PK, you can literally play the exact same way as you would with a pump and probably should it's just that everyone thinks they can get 2 shots of before the other guy gets 1 off which most of the time is not gonna happen.

Fortnite without pump is just less skilled, simple as. Tacs have too much variance, and charge delay puts you at disadvantage in fights. People spent like 2years learning to build with pump.

I feel like the purple and gold pumps should be valted and buff the blue one back to 100 body shot and 200 headshot and make it rare to find and buff the grey one to what the blue used to do which is 90 body shot with 180 head shot and green does 95 body shot and 190 head shot
