Bro this mix and the original is so beautiful. I really just wanted to tell you that honestly. I’m sitting here trying to find words to express myself. I sent your song to a friend and I said it was euphoric and I guess thats the only way I can describe it. I’ve dabbled a bit in making music although I don’t really know too much. However, I always love hearing people tell me they enjoy my piano or something I’ve created. I love electronic music and this hits different. Be proud of your work here man, and know I’m gonna be enjoying it this summer.

Oh , that's nice to hear! I figured some people may find it difficult to notice all the details, so this video might clear some things up a bit. Concerning myself, there may be not much to be learned beside the music I release at this point. :)

Thanks! I won't share the MIDI file right now, 'coz I think everyone can kind of see what is going on in the piano part thanks to this video and recreate the arrangement. Of course I will not stop anyone from creating their own MIDI from this song and do things with it!

I won't share MIDI files, 'coz the theme was already used as an unauthorized audio sample in the past and released commercially. With MIDI files, it's even easier for people to change something and release it as their work. However everyone is free to recreate and remix parts of it or make their own MIDI file from it, if they want to. After all, I've never seen Armin or Ferry giving away their files ... ;)

Thanks! It's the piano sound from a Yamaha Motif, so 100% hardware. You can see the instrument in the live video that I recorded for "The Theme" on my channel.

Hey there. Loved this song for a long time and have been wanting to learn it forever. It actually inspired me to learn piano and take lessons so I could compose. I'm trying to learn this though and feel crazy-- is this actually a half step up from standard tuning? I try to copy this exactly on my keyboard and it's like..as if your piano is tuned a half step or so different. Maybe more. Idk I'm still a noob. Am I missing something? Please help 🙏

Oh right, that's exactly what it is! The song is indeed transposed. I tend to forget about that fact. You're seeing F (minor) on the screen in the beginning, but you're hearing f sharp minor. That is exactly the way I recorded the thing back then. I began composing it in f minor, but ended up liking it better when transposed a half step up. I could theoretically show a tutorial in f sharp minor or I could even leave the video as it is and just pitch the audio track a half step down to make it "match", but either way that would feel ... wrong to me for some reason. ;) I would advise to simply transpose your instrument - I think most people are using electronic keyboards anyway.
