Down 15 to 14 with 15 seconds to go, Syracuse's Randy Staats #45 feeds a cutting Billy Ward #3 with a behind-the-back pass to tie the game at 15. After a face-off win by Chris Daddio #1, Kevin Rice #2 finds Dylan Donahue #17 as time expires for the game winner.
The plays took place at the end of Syracuse's 2014 ACC tournament semifinals win over Duke.

Charlie LeVine The rules don't specify how many LSMs you can have, only that each team is limited to 4 long poles on the field at a time. You can play those 4 long poles anywhere on the field you want, at midfield, close D or if you wanted to, even at attack. Syracuse brought 2 long poles up to the wings for the face-off and so they had to drop a short stick back into the defensive box since they only could have 2 other long poles on the field. It's fairly common to see teams face-off with 2 long poles on the wings. I've even seen a high school team have a long pole at the X with 2 other long poles on the wings and thus they had to drop 2 SSDMs back inside their defensive restraining line.
