The difference between good teams and great teams is that great teams find a way to win. Syracuse is a good team, but Clemson honestly shot themselves in the foot for 3 quarters of this game. It's a miracle that they were able to win this game with 4 turnovers. The Clemson defense was great, even with Syracuse's right guard getting away with holding literally the entire game- which is how they avoided sacks. Clemson has proved that they are battle tested, and Syracuse has proved that their 6-0 record wasn't a fluke- they are a good team. Go Tigers! All In!

@@djthabest123 I agree. Black Caucus is giving Clemson way too much credit. Clemson QBs had two fumbles and two interceptions. If not for a terrible late hit by the SYR defense, Syr would have started the fourth quarter up 11 with the football and all the momentum. Instead Clemson had the ball in scoring position. Clemson won the game but they are not great. They are a good team that beat another good team by 6 points on their home field.

It was great to see DJ giving his full support to entering Cade. Streeter called the plays conservatively, only allowing Cade to pass on 3rd downs mostly and Cade and Ngata and Shipley and KJ Henry on the defensive side made awesome plays for the biggest nail-biter win of the season. Go Tigers! Honestly all this anti-Cade talk needs to abate. He was never there to steal DJ's job but only negotiating for play time which he finally got today. for anyone watching in the future, this is the game that stonewalled dju’s productivity through the first 7 games. he was being talked about (at least from the media i consumed) as a heisman candidate and a first round draft pick during the first half of 2022. in my view, after he fumbled in the red zone early in this game, he lost his confidence for the rest of the season. the performance two weeks later in a disgusting weather game vs nd sealed it. it’s unfortunate for sure. dj was always a player that relied on confidence. when he was confident as trevor lawrence’s backup in 2020, he was promising. when that generational uga defense stymied us in the opener of 2021, he lost confidence for the rest of the season. fsu fans are starting to see what we clemson fans experienced for 2 years even though he’s (at the time of writing) only played 2 games. i hold by my thoughts that he had first round talent, but my evaluation is that he never had the intangibles (as vague as that can be) to shoulder a program at the level of clemson. i really wish it could’ve ended differently. i wish that he would’ve been able to find the spark in this game instead of cade. even if the nd game was inevitable, i wish he could’ve taken the offense by the scruff of its neck and propelled us to beat the gamecocks and win the acc. i think he would’ve gone pro at least and made some good money. i wish him and his family nothing but the best, they seem to be good people from all the interactions my friends had with them

As a Cuse fan i can say the Clemson defense was very well disciplined. i also notice how all the offensive players go for that extra stretch as they go down in a tackle. One a few plays it had paid off for Clemson. SYR could have won this game and in the final seconds, a win was still possible. There's a lot SYR can take away from this game, being it was played on Clemson's home court. But now it's off to the next week's game. Go CUSE!

Meanwhile, Clemson somehow finds, like, a combined 97 carries or whatever for Shipley & Mafa. They really felt the need to let Garrett Shrader get his Great Value Johnny Football on in THIS game. Hitting the QB late out of bounds when he had a foot out of bounds and was clearly on an out of bounds path? The PI in the end zone when the Syracuse defender jumped on the Clemson receivers back and hooked him with his free arm to knock the ball away?
