@@tillercaesar-kq4ou I'm not sure what you mean with your comment. But for historical reference, the Turkish Ottomans controlled large parts of Western Europe and the Middle East for centuries so traditionally had one foot in the west and one foot in the east. The city of Constantinople controlled the Bosporus Straight (Constantinople is now named Istanbul and sits on the left bank of the Straight).

I knew this was going to happen over a year ago. When it became clear to military experts all over the world and specifically to the military leaders of other countries who have been victimized by Russia's partnership with Assad, attacking poorly armed rebels and invading Syrian villages and towns, killing innocent people and destroying residential buildings and homes. Once it became clear how ineffective, poorly trained, poorly led, and the amount of equipment, heavy weapons, tanks, defensive systems and soldiers Ukraine continued and still continues to destroy on an unprecedented scale...that it was the ideal time to move against Russia to undo whatever crimes they committed to provide Assad the positions of power it gained to threaten and control the population in order to continue to hold the Presidency of Syria. But once it reached a point where it was obvious that were a major force to strike at Russia there wasn't much Russia would be able to do to stop it, that one of their enemies was going to recognize the golden goose was virtually almost completely unprotected and would never be as vulnerable again so the time was now. I was originally thinking it would be Chechnya...but, becuz 'Pukin' has one of his puppets set up there it's been impossible for the legitimate leaders of Syria to make any advancement against Assad with Russia backing him with weapons and soldiers. Hopefully they make the right moves and are able to regain control of the country.
