Very informative video, I have a case of syringomyelia they made a surgery for me to put tube to make the liquide circulate again, but this year the tube does not seam to function again 😐 does this sickness have solution please ?
@LearningAnatomysaqib2 жыл бұрын
Acèn, yes it has various treatment options. First step is to find out a good neurosurgeon and he can do the rest depending on the very cause in your case. For instance, if it is a Chiari malformation, more space will be made for cerebellum, and as they drained the CSF for you, it could be some other cause of Syrinx. Ty

@@LearningAnatomysaqib thank you very much for your reply, for me the cause is a that I had 10 years ago an accident that broke my spinal cord, so because of that a cavity is created on that place and the liquide does not circulate normally, now I made surgery and they put a tube along my spinal cord but this year I guess the tube got jamed so the liquide does not circulate anymore so I should make another surgery again to change that tube,. It is not very efficient because it only worked well for 1 year , thats why I asked if there is any other better solution for that 🤔

Acèn, for syrinx only surgery is the treatment, as a matter of fact.

Hi I had a reaction from a anesthasia. I was misdiagnosed the doctors send me to dentist, dentist send me to TMJ orthodontist, then was told to fo back to dentist then the dentist pulled 2 cavity out givin me anestasia on top of it with cylindomycin worse anti biotics ..i was a healthy male .. the anestasia and and impact of all at night joled my body , twitched my back, and I felt some thing in the spine.. however after 3 visits to ER doctors said i had gym injuries. However during the worse time started loose motions uncontrollable, peeing lost weight. Nerve numbness, pins, headaches, ringing in ears, swallowing issues, bloated..The hospital in Canada are known to misdiagnose patients. It was after 3 months I finally got a MRI Said I have syringohydromyelia c6 c7 and I'm very young and concerned. I'm not even sure of the results are accurate . If you have any thing you can help me with would be appreciated. What can I do as this is my early stage?
@LearningAnatomysaqib2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for asking. If it is diagnosed as syringomyelia, you find out a good neurosurgeon, and there are many options available to him. It can be managed successfully in most of the cases.

The presence of syrinx in syringomyelia damages the spinal cord, and extends to damage spinal nerves.

Thanks for reaching out. I have discussed in this video the details of the disease. If symptoms are worsening, immediately get an appointment with a good neurosurgeon.
