Υπέροχο βίντεο, σε μέρη πολύ γνωστά σε μένα, η συνοικία "Βαπόρια" είναι το Κωλονάκι της Αθήνας, τα νεοκλασικά της περιοχής είναι μοναδικά...... δεν είδα τον Άγιο Νικόλαο, εντυπωσιακή εκκλησία και μια από τις πλουσιότερες της Ελλάδας, καταπληκτικό το κτίριο Τσιροπινά που στεγάζεται η Νομαρχία....Μπράβο Τάκη για το εκτενές ρεπορτάζ με πολλά βίντεο στην υπέροχη Ερμούπολη...!!!!!!!!!!

Such lovely music! Hi, Takis I enjoyed this video and learning the history about the Catholics and the Orthodox etc..! The buildings are so ancient, the waters so beautiful and I loved that Maine Coon Cat!!! :)

Thank you Necie Syros is a special island. In the rest of Greece, the population of Catholics is very small (less than 1%). On the island of Lesvos (Eastern Greece) there is a Catholic church, with the remains of St. Valentine, who is celebrated tomorrow. But there are no Catholics on the island. In fact, Valentine was an Italian priest, who was beheaded in the year 268. But in 1907, his relics were found in Lesbos, in the Catholic Church of Our Lady, after having belonged to Lucia Theofanopoulou - Bongigli, who donated them to the Capuchins monks of the church.
