I saw an old video from your hood installation and I wanted to know if you have needed to replace the fan that you used or if it is still going? If it’s still going, what is the model?

Harbor Freight Ventilator fan! I want to say it was $70. Still runs like a champ, this is the third season!

No offense but that’s still water why does everyone say yup it’s got a pee color to the sap so it’s done or it hit a Certain temp NO you don’t strain it till it ribbons of a spoon that’s maple syrup to heck with all that fancy stuff for just some watered down maple syrup sap I’m in Vermont and I boil 35-40 gallons for one gallon and it’s so thick and sugary it makes auger crystals in it after a year of sitting I make up to 20 gallons of syrup just for my family and my dad would get mad if I brought maple syrup in that looked like that and it’s all done with a 55 gallon drum and a 25 gallon stainless steal pot and 100 taps!!!
