@@sparrowlt I agree with you. When I was new to field (DBA) ,I have seen some of my seniors to blame sysadmin team for performance problems. But, I know I'm not much aware about sysadmin's work and I know it's not a good practice to blame somebody without being specific. Then I tried to gain some knowledge in the field of sysadmin work...so now I can complain them with proofs and specifics

@@shiwanginishishulkar4744 Oh.. i had lots and lots of arguing with DBAs who blamed the OS/machine for the performance issues demanding from us to check errors they claimed saw in the windows event viewer (wich turned out to be irrelevant errors..all of the time).. the price goes for one who once blamed his DDBB poor performance in that the system was a virtual machine and wanted us to migrate it to "some physical machine we could had arround in any PC on the office" .. the VM was running of course in a huge and utterly expesive VM forrest with tons of performance avalaible....

Many offices only have 1 IT person that is supposed to handle everything "computer" related. This includes doing basic desktop support and running cables all the way to setting up VLANs, managing websites, network security, etc.
