Great reaction, great song! I've always interpreted it as the world burning around us, as we ignore the pain in the eyes of those we pass in the street. Alienation, loneliness, isolation while all the little fires we pass by and ignore on a daily basis - war, desease, hunger, violence, poverty, homelessness etc. Anyways glad you enjoyed it, such a lovely melancholic song for SOAD.

serj doesnt play an instrument in SOAD songs, daren is usually on guitar and backup vocals but for this he took more of a the lead vocals. to hear more daren, check out scars on broadway, its basically every SOAD member except serj
