Personally, one of System's best songs is "Question!" It's a real show of the entire band's talents.

@@strangemachines_I actually like both Question and Holy Mountains a lot more than Toxicity and Aerials. Growing up the more popular songs got very over played for me, not that they're bad songs cause they're all amazing, it's just that they have been over played for me my entire life and I actually enjoy a lot of more deeper cuts from the band more than what is usually played

Their Armenian heritage and influence make them unique in their musical genre. Add to that the fact that they are incredible musicians and Serj Tankian has an amazing, powerful vocal talent. If you like the darker side of SOAD listen to Mind from their self titled album. It gives you the chills.

You will not be disappointed by anything you listen to from this band. Every element meshes perfectly. I believe Serj is one of the great rock vocalists of all time, you can tell he's classically trained and he's so passionate and powerful and animated. Not to take away from Daron, who is an excellent vocalist in his own right, and a beast on the guitar, as well as John on killer drums and Shavo on banging bass. (You look up their full names, I don't have time to type them lol.). Keep riding that SOAD train, Polo, you won't regret it.

I'd rather see a band split, than make shitty music or replace key members tbh. One of my favourite bands called it a day after only having released 3 albums, because they wanted to end things on a high note. Now that's integrity. Music isn't for the fans, it's for the art.

Interesting harmonising and despite their complex time signatures, they did stick to a basic tempo for the majority of the track making it organised and well done. The vocals, I’ll have to grow into. 🙂 Never heard them before but definitely worth listening to more from them. PS: I listened a couple more times. Great song.
@jbrassic5434 Жыл бұрын
See, I don't hear any complex time signatures. It's a modulation between 4/4 and 3/4 between the elements. Clever yes, but complex, not so much. It's cool how we all hear things differently tho, I think it's half of why we watch reaction videos haha
