@@morganasherr After everything their families went through, you know that they have a strong opinion when it comes to politics. They've heard so much from their family about how things can so easily fall apart. They are a breath of fresh air every time I listen to them.

Back in 2002 when I first watch this video on MTV, I suddenly want a Zildjian shirt. I asked my mom if I can have one. A month later my mom brought me to a music store and she pointed a white Zildjian shirt displayed on the wall. She bought me that. My mom died 2 years later in 2004. Watching this video brings that beloved memory. Thanks for everything mom. It's been 15 years. I miss you.

1. Chop Suey! is considered one of the greatest metal rock songs of all time by many critic bodies incuding Pitchfork. Many enthusiasts have researched for it. 2. Chop Suey! is No.1 SOAD song in many developing countries. In the Philippines, its No. 1 altrock/indie band "Parokya Ni Edgar", an SOAD wannabe, made a hit song from spoofing Toxicity and Chop Suey. The title of the Song is "The Ordertaker". 3. Chop Suey! is a masterpiece - the shortest explanation.

What a lot of people miss about Serj's singing is his incorporation of traditional Armenian melodies. I grew up singing in the Orthodox church, and you can tell he borrows heavily from Orthodox choirs. Listen to Arials and then follow up with a Greek Orthodox cantor. I have always loved this about his singing.

I was just talking about this to my friend, they meld traditional Armenian melodies so well. It's beautiful to be able to pick them out when you know :)

As a kid, I wasn’t a fan of Serj’s voice. But man did it grow on me and now that I’m older and understanding a lot of the messages of their songs his voice really fits it
