Thanks! We are slowly researching water makers and how that can fit in with it all. We estimate our fresh water tankage to be close to 300L so hopefully that’s enough

The sink will be gorgeous. What a great find with that block. My ocd cut in with the plumbing diagrams. Use a heat exchanger at the motor for the hot water. You could also plumb in the motor raw water pump as an emergency bilge pump? Try to make the heads discharge on the other side of the hull so you don't suck back in what you've just pumped out. Really like the idea of the single vent for everything. Stroke of genious👍👍 I hope your have managed to hit the dreaded lurgy on the head. 🙋

Old carpenter here, Luvin' it. Seeing young folks figuring it out. Tip - it is possible to rake a circular blade sideways as long as the depth of cut doesn't exceed the length of tooth. By descending into a piece plunge style incrementally and rotating the saw within the cut, you can scoop a bowl. Slowly but surely. You are likely done with this bowl - looking forward to the final piece.

Hi again! Regarding the WC, I have had these broken by seasick/or drunk crew twice. The narrow part where it is mounted is the weak point and with weight above the center of gravity it is worth the time to try and site it well. but yep it was a priceless bit of film.🕳🕳💣

One idea to consider: a freshwater macerator heads; because you have a water maker you could install freshwater head. Less smell (seawater heads invariably smell worse), and having a 12 volt push button flush avoids the bulky pump mechanism, so you could centre the bowl in the middle of the space. Just a thought…

Hahah yes a funny moment when you are quite vulnerable! Yeah it’s all a compromise but the sink was actually based on the size of wood we had as we didn’t want to waste too much

When using a loo onboard sailing yachts, I've always preferred the ones that are facing fore and aft, and close to the centre line of the vessel, especially when underway and healing. Of course this all depends of interior plans and space. 😛

Beautiful boat. I would not have the engine cooling water directly into the heating loop. Too many possible leaking points could reduce the reliability of the engine. I would have put a heat exchanger between the two loops, so that the engine cooling water only went from the engine to the heat exchanger and then directly back to the engine.
@Building_a_Boat_by_the_River
