You should try adding chopped fresh dill with your mashed potatoes and adding some roasted garlic cloves. They disappear once you mix the potatoes but the flavor is there. My mother was from Poland and she always added the dill and garlic and those were my favorite. She passed away 3 years ago and I miss her mashed potatoes so much. Mine never tastes the same. Nothing is as good as momma’s cooking.

My Mom and Grammy cleaned floors like you. I did that, too for many years on my parquet floors. When we moved to a much larger home that became impossible. Sending blessings and love 🙏🏼❤️

I love how you do photo books, it’s so sad now because when I look back at photos of me as a kid it’s all on a disposable or a digital camera and they are always special moments. I definitely want to do disposable cameras and make albums for my kids so it feels nostalgic like the photos we all have as kids.

We see you endlessly cleaning and cooking and your little ones must enjoy having a tidy home. I grew up as one of five children but we had tasks we were responsible for as our part of our household. I feel it helps in promoting self-discipline, pride and teaches appreciation of taking care of what we have been given. Attending a private, Christian school was also a part of our upbringing. Thanks for sharing your life with all of us❣️

I loved your thoughts on keeping excess items out of your home. How do you keep your kids clothes minimal? Two pairs of jeans 5 shirts a couple church outfits? Or is that too much? My kids clothes are always stained but maybe if I wash them more than 1x a week than it wouldn't be so bad? Would love any thoughts on this!

"Something with cream, chicken and bacon" 😂 - that's totally what I say when I'm asked. Using what I have is my favourite way to meal plan 😋 Beautiful video, Laura ! Loved the mini printer too. So cute and practical ! 🥰

I can’t imagine having Three full size meals everyday anymore. When my children were home, at least one meal was on the lighter side like cereal, frozen waffles or sandwiches and fruit. You are doing such a good job!

So I just came back to your channel because of my interest in sourdough, of course I came back to Lisa’s first but then she mentioned you the other day and I was like oh my God her sister I forgot! Are you guys back in the day, are used to be into different blends of essential oils and stuff. Anyway, just wanted to come by and say hi. I’ve been watching all of your videos now cause I have a lot of catching up to do and I just came across the one talking about your voice and how you addressed that and I really can’t believe that anyone even asks you about that that’s just crazy to me… love ur channel and lisa’s too. ❤️❤️❤️

I'll take all the tips to keep a organized, cleaner home. Homeschooling now and even though I have a filing system for their work, it still seems like their work is taking over our little house on the prairie. Right now goldenrod and ragweed is stealing my energy and creating havoc on my allergies. 😂😂😂😂 I think in order to keep my sanity, I have to accept that I will probably not get my neat and tidy home until all the kiddos are grown. 😂😂😂😂

I was going to ask because you and Lisa do the same thing. Why do you have lunches that seem more like dinners and then you also have dinners? Is that how farm life goes?

I’ve noticed this on a few other channels, but moreso on yours….. there is a break in words that can sometimes be annoying. I’m sorry to say that. I don’t want to bring negativity. I just wondered if it’s in the editing or what?

Lots of wasted water. Just fill up the sink dang .. people are thirsty in other places

You’re just trying to find something to criticize her for, aren’t you? I’m sure there’s ways something every one of us could be doing to be more efficient in different areas. Either watch her videos and be encouraged by the things she does so well, or go somewhere else.

Why do Americans keep the water tap running? Why don't they just fill the sink with water then turn the tap off? Why do they put detergent on each item? Why don't they just put detergent once for the whole sinks worth of dishes? Totally wasteful American practice...
@brendaandalistairhunter95932 ай бұрын
I have wondered the same. Maybe in South Africa where I live, we have to be more careful not to waste water.
@bethanykafer12762 ай бұрын
Americans don't all let the tap water run. 😂 It's a person to person thing. I've seen some content creators outside of the US running their water as well.
