She was an amazing dancer, but when her season went on tour I met her. I was one of the first people to get in line and when it was my turn to meet her she was kind of rude and not very social. Tadd on the other hand was really nice and he kissed me on the cheek for a picture.
@JamesBrown-zq5zb7 жыл бұрын
I find it weird that tadd messed up the Cha Cha with Sasha but performed great with Melanie. Almost as if he wanted her to win. There were so many dancers I think. Who didn't want Sasha to win. Including the judges. thats the way it seemed.

This was 10 years ago but Christina’s comments don’t just go for this video it’s forever and she’s absolutely right, it’s not about how many turns you can do or how many developes you can do. Dance isn’t about tricks or how flexible you are it’s about story telling and touching people with your emotions and portrayal and performance

She had a point though. Sasha was so good. I really didn't care what everybody else could do. I honestly felt like no one. Was a better dancer. Than she was. No matter how good their dances were. Sasha brought something new to dance. She completely changed dance for me.

Sasha is a true artist. She dances from her soul. Which i felt everyone else lacked. Sasha's movement quality. Was unbeleivable. It was like she was the beat. She also felt the music. Which made it posible for us. To feel something from her routines. Ontop of all that. She is an incredible actress. She should plays. Or get into movies. A person that brings all this. To dance. Gets my vote everytime. The first time i watched this season. My jaw literally dropped. When I watched her dance. I was so amazed. The funny part about the whole thing is. She tried out for season 6 and didn't make it. They must can't recognize talent. She didn't even make the show. Now its season 8 and she's the best dancer. On the show. Out of all the seasons. I honestly think she is the best dancer in the world.

One of the most beautiful and emotional dances on SYTYCD. I agree with the judges. It's not always about technique. It's emotion that truly brings a dance to life. And that's what Sasha did. She used emotion and turned this piece from a dance to a story. Just amazing.

Sasha was so amazing in this. So much passion. There were so many things in this. That were so artistic. From her running toward the judges and stopping and spinning. Then running to the wall and puting her hand on the wall. From the synchronized movement on the wall. Until she put her leg into his chest. To the spin toward him and he lift her up. She then makes a Y with her legs. I love when she put her leg up after this. Still synchronized with the beat. With them still holding hands. When she put her leg up against the wall I can go on and on. This is the best routine on the show. Period.
@FreshAir7911 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with you about that.Choreographers are designers but it takes the dancer to display it and bring it life. I know and believe that dance is much more about bringing/showing the technical aspects of the routine but its about bringing life, your life into it, and that is what makes a dancer, a great dancer.
@JamesBrown-zq5zb8 жыл бұрын
This is what I think. A dancer must have. To become a great dancer. You must be able to act. You must be able to move to the beat or music. Basically you have to always be on Q. With the music. It's called movement quality. Which I think. Is the most important thing. A dancer must have. To become a great dancer. Third. You must have technique and last but bot least. You have to feel. Every movement. If you don't feel. Your movement. Than the audience won't.

What amazes me about this dance. You know a person is a true artist. When they strip down and bare theirselves to the world. I consider myself a good dancer. I feel the beat. When I dance but Sasha somehow becomes the beat. All you real dancers out there. Know what i'm talking about. Her movement quality is rediculous. That in itself. Makes her legendary. She don't even need to feel the beat but ontop of her movement. She feels every performance. She also throws acting in their. Which she is very good at. She literally becomes the character in the routine. Which is so amazing. Sasha is one of those dancers . That come around every hundred years. Sasha you can honestly become even greater then Dezmon Richardson. Your that good. I also think you have. Incredible technique.

Every time I go back and watch a Sasha performance...then a Melanie performance, I'm always left with the same conclusion: if there was ever a season to make an exception and have 2 winners, this was the season. Although, I'm happy to hear that with a few music video spots as well as a Madonna tour dancer...I'd say Sasha is having as good a post-SYTYCD career as good as any winner.
