Well Taeyeon long ago became a living legend in Kpop even before she was a true soloist as she led the nation's girl group that also arguably became East Asia's girl group and sang several hit OST's that showed off her unique ability to feel a song and convey that through her singing. When she finally debuted as a true soloist, SM to their credit found a song that fit her so well in content and style and spared no expense shooting a video that conveyed the story of that song so well and made her look utterly incredible. Then she has just gone on showing what a talented singer she is releasing a lot of quality music. It was nice seeing her get back to her OST roots here with Hotel del Luna.

She's the best kpop female vocalist. Why ? Because she's the only idol that is able to hit high notes now the exact same she did years ago. For example, she's even better singing the high note in "Into The New World" than back then. She stills hit the climax high note in "Genie" the exact way.
