Breaking Everything on the Polaris RMK

The snow is deep in Revelstoke! But we have problems with Polaris Matryx Boost 850 when we break the shock mounts, then the A Arms and do what we gotta do to get it back to the truck! problems with polaris

I'm not a comments kind of guy..... but I waited years for the new cat to come out. Speaking from personal experience my old girl got me out after hitting rocks trees and hard snow when other machines would have been hoopdicated. Keeping true to my form I have started hitting creek banks (hard enough for my buds to come over saying holy f... are you ok) no damage to my Catalyst,but my ribs hurt. Soooocats are still tough and have a pretty nice ride. Just thought you should know.

That was unreal. Who the hell uses a pair of vice grips to fix an A-arm. That was awesomeeeeee. I stress out about blowing a belt and you fellas wheel down a mountain with zip ties, wire and vice grips. Lmfao. Great vid boys!

Grew up riding polaris in the 90’s last polaris was my 2000 800 RMK. I was always breaking suspension parts and engine failures. Bought my first new cat in 03 started racing cars in 04. All i can say is i never looked back unless i was racing of course lol!! People can say what they want about Cats but iv lived it cats are great sleds.

Not hating on doo-doos, but I just picked up a 24 summit I have less than 60 miles and there’s issues with it, 1. gas gauge dosent work 2. The pull start acts as if it’s stripped out most of the time, thankful for SHOT. 3 The display quits working if you bump the kill switch. overall happy compared to my last Polaris blowing up no warning but come on

all sleds have some of this stuff happen. I put a socket on all the shaft bolts every second ride or so. takes 2 minutes. some think its overkill but a stitch in time saves nine.

Build a trailing arm for that a-arm next time and she’ll ride out just fine from what I’ve seen on other channels. Poor Shaun is having some bad luck. And on a blue bird pow day. Figures. Good luck men and I’ll see ya’s on the next one.

Maan I will be so disappointed if you get a poo. This channel has always been cat content. The catalyst is awesome. The 858 got some baby issues with clutching, tuning and exhaustvalves but they are all simple fixes. I run the 600 146" because I ride low elevation and that thing rips, the chassi is soooo playful and lightweight.

The 858 is an absolute pile of issues. Multiple blowing up, crank issues, piston issues. Those aren’t baby issues. I’d give up riding sleds before I’d ever consider even owning a cat.

2026 artic cat 858 if u get polaris 9r your going have polaris problem p22 clutch sucks. Going have do alot upgrades to a polaris to be bullet proof. Cats 858 is just getting started I think for 2026 it's going be top mountain sled na I hear lots of stuff for 26 27 year for cat twin rail and turbo. Man I hope u change your mine buy 858 bc it's new sled. I think u would gain views on KZbin vs 9r plus this is artic cat channel it's always cat. Give 25 cats break wait on 26 there gonna rule mountain. Someone bought artic cat so get ready and I'm from midwest so my info gets to me fast

The 858 is an absolute pile of issues and it’s going to take years to fix. The 9r clutch issue is known and Polaris has almost completely fixed it. The 858 is nowhere near bulletproof and I guarantee it’s going to be a bag of problems down the line too
