Bars are definitely a need at this point for ya...have a 15 m8000 and just did the adjustable post delete and low bar with rsi risers ...much less slop and bs!! Super easy to do. But great video!! 🤘🤘 Keep it up

Did a headlight delete to my skidoo expert after I smashed it into a tree and took out the headlights. added a rigid head light and ended up with about 3 times the glove box space once I took out the headlights and carved into that area. Tons of storage now.

Ever thought of keeping the headlights and getting rid of the intakes? I understand it’s so you can use it all still but I would love to do a intake mod and just trim the intake vents off they don’t meet up like they used to 😢

Could you just ditch the KN filter all together and use the frogzskin's over both intake holes? Especially since my 1100 turbo has a paper filter right before the turbo and I don't ride in the mountains?

Curious to know if you need a different regulator, a dc regulator or something? I tried installed LED headlights and with the AC power they flickered when revving. Also Do you need the air filter? Could you not just install the frogskinz on both holes?

Great video👍 i did the intake on my M1100 turbo a few weekends ago. Picked up the same snow pod you have i think. I cut the hood shroud in between the stock intake holes and ran it in front of the center of the bars. Kinda blocks my gauge cluster but it's normally coved by snow anyways and i really like being able to hear the turbo. I was going to go out the side of the hood but i was too afraid it would get ripped off. Just waiting till i can afford to pick up my new track then try and install it myself. Maybe a vid with pointers and tricks on how to swap a track out is in the works?😝

Tracks are still pretty easy on those! Just remember how your chain case goes together is the trick!

Did you leave the headlights AC power? I had to convert my headlights to DC using the rectifier (I have E-start) to keep my LEDs from flickering like crazy.

I didn't. You can do that or you can get an LED with a ballast built in.

Been looking at adding the 16 spindles. Did you just slap the spindles on your stock a-arms or did you change up the arms as well?

I’ve had issues in the past with the factory intake covers ripping and creating spots for air to get into the intake on my xf .. with your knowledge of these sleds do you think just putting a frog skin like you put on the right intake run but on both sides would work good enough as intake vents ? Or would it restrict too much air-flow ? (Hope you can make some sense of what I just said lol)

I've seen it done that way. The problem just comes when you start getting into the deep snow and the vents getting covered, but if you don't do mountain riding it might work out.

That's a 20 year old sled, so it's not surprising that parts aren't available for it.

Hi Matt! Is it possible to run both the oem headlight and a led light off the connector at the same time you reckon?

I don't know exactly what bar that is or how much current it draws, it looks like a generic 7inch 18w led bar and that is totaly fine to run with the standard light. One thing you could do is upgrade the halogen to a Good LED bulb. As far as I can find Arctic cat uses a H4 bulb, there are some really good H4 LEDs out there :)

Its a weight savings and asthetic thing mostly. I don't think the motor gets a whole lot more air this way.

It’s the adjustable handlebars. There’s a delete kit you can do that allows you to cut the shaft, install a new bracket and put fixed risers on and it eliminates about 99% of the slop.

You can upgrade the post to a solid post or get an adapter I think from RSI to get rid of the adjustable part.
