I don't know why but it helped keep me somewhat sane while I paced around aimlessly, smoking and watching the rain turn into snow. While SZA executes it so calmly I can't help but pick up on those passionately angry, yearning, gutwrenching undertones that you often find within grief. Such a beautiful song. Rest in peace Dad, this one will always remind me of you.
