I really believe JD gets his demons out on stage and with music. It's legit therapy for him imho, and amazing to witness. If you haven't seen Korn live yet, you simply must. My older son and I have twice now and can't wait to go again. Just an amazing live band, and no matter how much you like the bands they tour with, Korn always blows them away. The other bands aren't bad, it's just that Korn is a step above live. I'm ashamed to admit I didn't even listen to them until AFTER I saw them live. I was seriously blown away and have been a huge fan ever since. And JD has asthma, he keeps oxygen behind a speaker and sometimes has to use it between songs. He gives it his everything and you can tell. 💘🤘

an apple won't fall far from its tree. My mom is a hard rock fan, met my father at a Bon Jovi concert, I met my son's father in an anarcho-punk fair. My son is 6, as a baby, he used to sleep to rockabilly, Elvis, and samba, but these days he dances and makes up his own lyrics to Korn whenever I'm listening to it. Personally, I think Korn is one of the greatest, they're relatively younger but still of such a great music quality. So much rhythm and transparent feelings. Korn as what they are already known for, anger and emotion, mixed extra hostility into this and creepiness, which floyd already had going in that direction. Korn just amplified it even more. The fact that korn put their own feeling and emotions into this and not just a regular cover song to look trendy, adds to their genuine character as an awesome band. Timeless. They take emotion and slap you in the face with it, whether you are ready for it or not. Are you ready?

If a cover is going to be done with songs like this, it has to be as effective. This is dope!

I’ve listened to Korn’s cover of this Pink Floyd song as much as I’ve of I’ve listened to the original Pink Floyd song and this is by far the best cover. So much pure emotions from Johnathan and Munky and Ray. Truly amazing!

They are SO good here. Raw, in the flow, catching the dark essence of this song immaculately, making it as personal as it was for Waters. It's one of those instances where I feel I like the cover is better than the original.
