I look at this with nostalgia, the presence of Patricia Vanneste is sorely missed

Read the lyrics, then watch this video, I dare you not to move! I can't help it!! Love it!! On my bucket list too see live at Red Rock Canyon! I love good music and smooth moves! BTW, I'll be the gray haired old lady dancing in the audience that you will all wonder how the hell I found my way there! Good music is what makes one live, Balthazar, thank you for your music!

I saw them on a whim in Prague a few years back, and it was one of the best decisions that I had ever made, spontaneous or no. I was on vacation, and, earlier that day had met up w a girl at a cafe via Tinder. She was nice enough, but we didn’t have any real chemistry, though she liked me enough to invite me out w her friends later that evening, a French gal and a Russian guy. We went to an art gallery for the debut party for a new series from a local Czech artist. While there, I distinctly remember sipping bourbon, neat, laughing to myself as I thought, “I’m the only American here, and, of course, am drinking American liquor.” In the midst of laughing at my “revelation” (I tend to laugh at my own jokes more than anyone else), the French gal asked me if I liked indie rock. I told her that I wasn’t particular about genre or style, so long as the songwriting and lyrics were of a quality caliber. She played me a few Balthazar songs, and I recognized one or two of them, and then eagerly jumped at the opportunity to go. The band was fantastically on point, and they all came out to mingle w their fans afterwards. My French friend still regularly uses a pic that I took of her w Martin as her profile one on Facebook. Patricia was a total sweetheart, and super gregarious, even sneaking me beers from the backstage, while hanging out w me and the Frenchie (as a random aside, the Frenchie has become one of my closest friends, and we’ve reconnected multiple times on my multiple, subsequent visits to Prague since then). I can’t wait for Balthazar’s new album to come out later this month!

Saw them twice (Rock en Seine Paris 2015 and Rockstore Montpellier 2019), loved them both times! Great energy and wonderful performance. I hope we can go back to concerts in a not so distant future...

DO NOT CLAIM THEM ANYMORE Hold me close my dear There's nothing wrong with some twisted fear Hold it out with a snear Don't wait too long 'cause I'll be far from near Battle dress show your teeth We're right in front of this tempting heat Leave your rags on the street And leave them burning on the wet concrete Far from this day you won, you won The hearts of the ones before But don't think this way you won ,you won Their hearts by the oath you swore So do not claim them anymore Hold me close my love We'll walk this path to be in love And leave the rest unclaimed And leave it free and untaimed Far from this day you won, you won The hearts of the ones before But don't think this way you won ,you won Their hearts by the oath you swore So do not claim them anymore

BUNKER💙 Every time I walk on by Stroll along your street Can't believe there's not a thing in the world A thing left to repeat And I was walking on your floor Begging to?? Can't believe there's not a thing in the world A thing left to ask for So leave my broken bones I'll take the load of your skin Throw me all your stones You need a sinner Every time I walk on by Stroll along your street Can't believe there's not a thing in the world A thing left to repeat So leave my broken bones I'll take the load of your skin Throw me all your stones You need a sinner I will So leave my broken bones I'll take the load of your skin Throw me all your stones You need a sinner I will Don't you know Don't you know what to say Everytime you think about it Talk around it again Don't you know Don't you know where to stay Everytime you think about it Talk around it again Don't you know Don't you know what to say Everytime you think about it Talk around it again Don't you know Don't you know where to stay Everytime you think about it Talk around it again

NIGHTCLUB Crippled by this raw desire I keep on reaching high and higher And now the stars replaced the sun And there's a woman's face in each and everyone And it's all so blinding A little goes a long way A lot of it a long way further A little goes a long way A lot of it a long way further At first it just affects your skin But then it takes you over from within It shines out trough your eyes It starts to shine out past the drought inside of your mouth And it's all so blinding A little goes a long way A lot of it a long way further A little goes a long way A lot of it a long way further So I'm not going home babe Oh, why should I
