Drill the holes in the fountain pieces TINY BIT BIGGER so the water doesn't go up as high and it will not blow out of the bird bath........... I drilled the holes in mine stepping up with drill bits, slowly testing them after every drill bit size until I was happy. Water stayed in all day

THANKS! Sorry for the late response. The bird baths featured in this video are from Pier One imports. Fortunately, I got them when they closed the stores, and everything was 50% off. I bought them for $50 a birdbath, which was a reasonable price. But I found better ones in the store called (AT HOME) I will link the video kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXrdlGeDfZeCg9E GO TO THE 4:06 MARK, and you will see a lovely ceramic birdbath that is similar to mine, which is probably better because mines are concrete. I got mine from pier one import before they closed the store, and the original price was $100, but it was on sale for 50% off, so I bought both for $50 each. The ones I have are concrete. I did a video last month going through the At-home store, and I found the same type of fountains, but they were ceramic. It felt just like glass, and it was lovely. 1:50 - 2:10 how to remove the filter . Make sure you don't have a nozzle on . I hope this helps I will do more videos on filter removal and cleaning.

If you have foliage or rocks the pump needs to be cleaned more often due to algae

You are right. I use my rain barrel and try to add new water weekly. Algae builds quickly. Thanks!
