Glad to see Modiphius jumps to hard plastic, but losing the scenic bases... It is a pity. I hope they release more files about bases, even their scenic bases could come in a stl format to finish the hard plastic minis😊

I got good news, but bad news. When they announced the plastic T-45 kit months ago during a stream, they said they would come with plain plastic bases. They use the same HIP mold for the bases that came with the Elder Scrolls plastic starter sets. The sculpted bases take almost as much work to sculpt as a while figure, which takes time away from designing figures (and costs money). They haven't said anything about selling bases, but they are selling a bunch of stl file sets with small details someone with a resin printer can print out and add to their plastic base. There are so many companies that sell resin bases and stl files for bases.

@@wittsullivan8130 they said they will sell resin versions, and the biggest models would come in resin directly. About the greebles set, I have printed all already, but I would say they would be better if that set would not come with plain bases. I will look for better stuff for this.

Had the chance to meet the Modiphius guys at Salute 23 and they were rightly proud of this kit. It certainly has a quality up there with the GW style plastic kits (funnily enough given who designed the sprue!). They were saying that resin isn't going anywhere and will still be the go-to for characters etc, but will see more plastic for core and non-named stuff which makes sense.

So pleased to finally see them go for plastic kits, I was waiting to see the quality close up and these look good. I know it's a bit of a long term risk on a license they don't own but I hope they take a chance and do a lot more. I also think losing the scenic bases in a good thing if it gets the price down. Make them an option for people that want them like GW do.

Thankfully Modiphius has finally released the plastic kits. So easy to assemble with plastic glue (no super glue needed) and mix-and-match/kit-bash is much easier. Maybe if popular enough (mucho sales), there could be releases of rank-and-file figures. Plain plastic bases are not a problem as you can glue on extra bits to customize how you want. That sprue looks really good. I can definitely see wanting to get at least a couple boxes of them for the variety. Glad they were able to come out of the gate with a quality product right from the start! I got into FWW a year ago, but don’t have many friends willing to throw down for expensive resin in order to play; I think/hope these plastic kits and the upcoming Faction game are going to pull in more gamers. 😃🤞

That kit looks bonkers I can't wait! Really dig the included profiles they have as well, cards can get a little cluttered and it'll be easier to digest for new players. I have some doubles of the resin T-45 too, so here's hoping it won't be too hard to slap some of those extra arms on a few.

Definitely a great kit. I am glad that you went over the various weapon options as that convinced me that I am going to need at least two of these boxes. Pity that they are getting rid of the scenic bases but hopefully the separate ones in resin they will be offering in the future will be varied enough to fill that desire many of us, like myself, have for those scenic bases.

I’m happy to see Modiphius upgrading their line to hard plastic. Don’t get me wrong, I love the current resin models, but hard plastic makes them survive a lot more punishment. A friend recently left my minis in a citadel case and I’m still trying to fix my NCR. My poor heavy trooper now has a sun nosed LMG😢. So hopefully we can see more plastic models that can withstand danger.

It was worth it to wait all those years to finally get hands on plastic set! I had really bad experience with their resin kits (like almost half of the time they were in some spot greasy to the point, that even 48 hours of bathing in soap and water didn't help at all). Moreover, look at those details! Try to make mini-nuke launcher that doesn't need like days of sanding. Crispy detail, easy to glue together with Tamiya glue and super quick to remove mould lines. What more would you like to have? It just looks absolutely great!

I think plain bases are fine in the set, but sell us packs of just scenic bases, just like the weapon options! 😊

I'm surprised there's that many fallout 3 options. I knew to expect a couple of big weapons from the art, but to see 10mm pistol and fallout 3 assault rifle options is amazing. Might have to figure out magnetizing for this set. Too many tough choices

They do look really nice but I wish they had slightly less uniform and more " dynamic" poses, like a more obvious walking pose and a braced one, as it is they look a little static, still nice though, the kits also look a lot easier to put together than the Call to Arms plastic kits which were a pain in the ass.
