The Turret spaced armor is actually better than you mentioned, as those boxes have 180mm plates of armor beyond that initial 198mm, along with 190mm plates inbetween the separate boxes (which you are likely to hit). That's nearly 568mm of armor FLAT to pen before you hit the turret. Add an extra 150mm or so to represent the turret itself, and this armor is quite frankly terrific for even Era 3's mightest. Of course, y'know, it is defeatable if you aim in the proper spots, but it'll make enemies need to think about their shots, a very useful advantage to have. Edit: Oh, and that upper plate spaced? Dual layer, so that upper plate gets over 230mm of armor, better than the T-72M-1. Ridiculous.

IRL one of these survived a direct hit from the then latest MILAN ATGM which is capable of frontally killing a T-72M1 with ERA. That is especially impressive as that means the tanks frontal armor is comparable to things like the T-72B and early M1 Abrams variants (Pre DU inserts)

The T-55 Enigma reminded me the super Pershing,M project tank, super M48, M60AX.just a medium tank added a lot of armor to become a heavy armor medium tank

It has armour that is on par with the 4211?? Mate, that is saying something, and a half. Couldn’t get over how many rounds it bounced in that first game. Looking forward to trying it out, after being initially blasé about it

FV4211 armor with only 100 less DPM than a Leo 1A1, this tank looks amazing! The only thing wrong with it seems to be that it's premium round is HEAT, and it's not high penetration HEAT either, not very useful at Era 2.

@@pp_ca_2000 The WZ-122 has equivalent pen and I have no issues using it's mediocre gun to go through the vast majority of tanks I face. What this tank lacks in ATGMs it clearly makes up for in armor, big time.

It has NERA fitted so if you hit the same spot the second shot should pen. The same as ERA armour. Great tank though but its definitely not immune to ATGM's

Pro : really solid tank, always winning duel except against fv4211 facehugging Cons : Matchmaking is outrageous. You either lose even though score 5000-6000 damage or win with just 1000's because your godlike teammates left you nothing to shoot. One of my lowest wr tank.

This tank will play good while its on the reward bit then next month it will be shhhhhh it . Like they normally do to tanks. remember the red tank few months back wz sumthing. its now terrible lol catches fire easier, moves slower then before, gun bouncy bouncy shots, slower reloading and ive not changed my tank crew or settings. so game changes made by wot made tank poop

Just got this tank, and what can i say? It's pretty decent. Penetration could be bit better, but additional armor does the work. Though still prefer my Magach 5 overall than this tank.

@@certifam2623 if you haven't already try putting the "off road perk" on your tank commander, tank will move better, i tryed all the other perks or equipment and the off road perk did the most. Every terrain should be noticeable difference in speed. U probably done this already but thought just incase lol

Nice clip Riki like always. Watched a dokumentry about that tank it is 18" between hull and turrent Amor. It is a bit of a shame only 1Cold war tank in the hole S.P that is crap only ww2 Tanks up to level 100 . WG should change that the player base in CW is getting bigger

So far from what I've played of this thing,it's Medicore , yeah it can bounce stuff but as soon as people know the massive weak points the tank is useless ,the hull it self is like butter. The FV4211 has better gun depression, op armour so you can play like an idiot in it,gun is really good, yes mobility is terrible but everything else is good. I do t hate this T55 but it's not worth it even free,there's better options out there.

Worst season to date. Terrible reward tanks and the terrible T77 that we’ve had before for level 100 and this useless Cold War tank that I never play Remember when we used to get tier X reward tanks in WW2? Pepperidge farm remembers And they’ve decreased the points that the season challenges give you. Classic Wargaming. Give you less but charge more (I.E your time)

Playing the new season now and I must say I’m disappointed. Unless you look at the season rewards you can’t even tell it’s Halloween. Most of it is rehashed tanks and one new commander 👎🏻
