Awesome video :D Would be nice a review of the Chinese T-69 II G. It has changed in BR quite a lot lately and since now it is permanently available as GE premium, an updated feel on that tank would be helpful.

I still don't understand why its cousin the T-69 II G went up to 9.0; when it not just lacks the extra armor it even has a weaker engine, and optics + less gun depression! The few blocks of ERA not gonna save it; the 105mm gun barely an improvement (u get it on 8.3 btw), and only the turret rotation is better.

I love the amd its really versatile and the lr and aps are really helpful in some cases, whereas the armor is adequate enough for the br.

I feel called out by the APDS vs APFSDS lol. For some reason, i just like the APDS round more. Though i do recognize the APFSDS is a factually better round. Sometimes though i dont need the extra penetration, and the APDS rounds are a bit cheaper so i save some SL.

I primarily load aphe and apfsds and missiles. Primarily use aphe one shot instant dopamine hit.

Rush spawn and camp the enemy..... its all the Russians do at that br... being a brit main you just always get put against Russians and they always spawn rush because brits just can't do bugger all... they're overtiered and AP is just useless.

Late to the party. Have had the 55AM1 for a while now, it's a great fun tank. It's all you'll need to know to buy it plus the 8.0 to 9.0 BR is probably the most fun brackets you can have before hitting 10.0+ hell.

If I had to bring any of those 3 tanks you mentioned (the T-55AM-1, T-55AMD-1, or the T-62) into an *uptier* it honestly would probably be this AMD-1 since you see even more ATGMs at that BR. At the BR these vehicles are at and for grinding up to that point even without the premium bonus I might chose the T-55AM-1 for its extra armor and all round performance.

Well today I tried to play with T-55A, in previous video you said that even its armor is pretty good. Well, in first 4 battles in the row I got just one shot by tanks with APDS frontally, they were always the first thing that shot me and also always one shot me :)

In my opinion solely based on looks: Chinese T-69 II G > Finish T-55M > Chinese ZTZ59 D1 > Any other T-55 variant :D The T-55 is one of my favorite tanks ever. It just clicks as the image of a tank.

Not related but i recently have been really thinking about how thers a huge gap for the AA line in the american tech tree,so i have been looking around and found A IFV or AA used vy the Americans its use a similar cannon to the ones on the R3 T20 and Ystervark,this IFV/AA in particular is designated as the M114A2 mounted with the M139 20mm autocannon. Thought i should mention this here as you may have a way of telling gaijin. I REALLY want a fast firing 20mm for the american line . Pls look into that or make a vid on it or maybe contact Gaijin about it

In my Opinion AMD and AM-1 is quite balanced for it's BR, if it go up the gun a little bit underpowered and overall lacking in reload time and protection, meanwhile if it goes down it's too good. anyway it's only my opinion

The most powerful vehicle in 8.7 BR, with APS kind of working. Various rounds you could load. Better than IT-1, 10 seconds reload. You can even load ATGMs as much as you want with same reload rate. Not the US one loading for 20 seconds. There is no other vehicle having same features.

5:59 I will use none of them. Nowadays TO-55 is in a much better environment than most of the 8.7-9.0ish soviet things. If techtree only, Just use everything else untill the t64/72a, and skip everything untill the very br. Obj 292 is fun, 2s38 is a troll (performance is not reliabe though), T-72Bs maybe ok, but the overall situation for soviet post-war ground are, you will always face something 1-2 generations more advanced than you. It's just planned on purpose. So just play the playable and let the rest rot.

Absolutely hate playing against this tank at 8.3.... nothing but t55s and Ams and they're a nightmare to fight against because of Russian bias... its basically easy mode. Trying to spade the warrior and its just "target hit!" Every time .. as soon as I see that dome i just hide and wait until sides are exposed.

doesnt help that its so fucking common, the only thing in my 7.7 lineup that can kill T-55's from the front is the AMX-50 Surbaissé, the rest of my tanks "should" be able to pen the front turret but in practice ive never ever been able to because of how trolly the mantle is. Its so funny to me how stupid some players are, they just blindly push an AMX-50 Surbaissé because they rely on their armor so much and are used to being handheld, whenever i play the T-55AM-1 is literally just get 5+ kills without issue because its so easy to play
