From my era where I always remember coming from primary school and I watched it sometimes. The actress from Emmerdale who played Diane was great as T Bag and also a very young Linda Carter from EastEnders was a great child actress.

I was born in 1981 and have the most vague memories of watching this. I remember a young lad who assisted the bad sorceress (although he wasn't a complete baddie himself) called T Shirt and I remember the sorceress reading tea leaves and perhaps even watching people in the bottom of her tea cup. I never, ever thought that I would find this programme again so thank you so very much for uploading it!

Anyways, I loved it and being able to watch it now is magical bcs it brings back memories of my sister and myself watching it together. Good old times. It's only music and shows like this which can take u back in time

Is there anything more british than a Theatre play about Tea Witches? Its a Kid's fantasy show, but it is very well acted and the storytelling is pretty great , with its own Lore and world building, it wasn't over complicated and had passable special effects for 30 years ago, A forgotten Gem !

Thank you for the insights- I do remember her from 'The Upper Hand', but that is only because I remember pretty much everyone from a certain era in my life for no reason at all (and these names just stuck!). I wasn't even a 'fan' of the programme- I just remembered her name at the time (and her being associated with it). I even watched it once or twice. I think 'Brush Strokes' was on at the same time- so I remember Karl Howman as the actor. I always used to read the credits. :)

@@VideotapeFTW you're kidding?! :D What are the chances of that? Talk about a impromptu reunion. Also credit to John for doing this T-Bag show for so long. He's seems he always had a foot in kids entertainment to this day which works in his favor as can pull off acting in young children's programs like Thomas the Tank Engine without sounding like he's forcing it. He's a natural at it. I reckon he has been one of the best people to play Thomas. I'm going to miss him in the role.

Unfortunately the website got closed down I think maybe due to copyright or something to do with the high t website or another unknown reason and the video got blocked as well I think I haven’t been able to find it ever since it got took down and I’ve been searching for it for a while and quite a long time now I’ve been looking and the video had a different older and younger cast playing the original t bag and t shirt is all grown up like an adult age and he’s working in a cafe where he’s serving out tea too and t bag drops by and magics herself there and they discuss some of their past adventures and t shirts saying he’s never going to go on another quest again and that he’s too old as I recall from the video from 2016.

Yes, we've completed series nine a couple of days ago (kzbin.info/aero/PLYzsPPYPRRFXC30xKLPgETInME-OsyhMt), and series five and six will be uploaded in due course. We weren't originally going to bother as they're already out there in one form or another, but the final clincher was that last lot that are all squashed and stretched into widescreen. T-Bag deserves better than that (as do the loyal fans of 30-odd years)! Plus, of course, there's all the extra continuity and all that, which I for one love. :-)

And also been liking the mike and Angelo episodes to. Bringing back great memories. And Just found out they are written by the same writers as T bag. Just shows you how versatile they are.

Thank you very much - very kind of you to say, though I can't take all the credit. As for the writers, they also did Spatz and the majority of the 90s reboot of The Tomorrow People. Most people would be happy enough to come up with only one cult classic in a career!

Yes they have certainly left there mark on 80,s and 90,s Kids TV. And also I love the added bonuses of the continuity on these vids. They more then out weigh any others on here that are posted in all ways !

A lot of people have been trying for a very long time to get these released on DVD, but sadly it doesn't look like it will ever happen.
