Most people can't even deadlift Coleman's Tbar row weight
@MrLennybach5 жыл бұрын
Abner Bondoc Coleman had poor form. Arnold Schwarzenegger had to much movement still had decent range of motion. Even though I don’t like Kia Green I think overall he had better form, control and range of motion.
@gg0255 жыл бұрын
MrLennybach Ronnie was basically doing cheat rows, which have their place. He isn’t concerned with ROM or controlling the weight, his primary focus is overloading his back with a shitton of weight.
@ML-gz3eq5 жыл бұрын
MrLennybach exactly, Ronnie was using momentum and no range of motion. Arnold had the range of motion but he was rounding his back and is limiting himself from getting the full contraction and increasing injury chance
@ML-gz3eq5 жыл бұрын
G G yep exactly right
@nickv55764 жыл бұрын
G G there's a difference between overloading and just jerking the weights with momentum generated by your legs and lower back. As much of a legend as Ronnie is and as strong as he clearly is, some of these videos are just him ego lifting and his fans just defend him because they're on the bandwagon

I will be 74 this July. I use a wide grip and t-bar row six 45 lb plates for multiple reps. Full range of motion.

For some reason this is just the coolest back exercise. It looks dope and it´s just fun to lift heavy and cheat a little bit.

Doing it with your feet elevated and the bar at a deficit like Arnold and the other Golden Era bodybuilders makes it look even cooler and it works the entire back.

There’s a fat old misconception in this comment section. Bad form does not mean no gains. It just makes progressive overload very difficult and has a high chance of causing injury. However you will be placing a lot of tension on the chosen muscles by lifting this heavy and will see some serious gains. It’s just very risky
@ahmadbinfadzil82583 жыл бұрын
Arnold usually did not drop or throw the weights. We would put it down slowly.
@SpiritusFrumenti3 жыл бұрын
A row is a row. There's no real wrong form. The trick is that when they started doing rows n were much weaker, they probably started with a sttaigher back n more parallel form. When you get stronger and can handle bigger loads, the arch and the up-right-ness goes away and you just row heavy ass weight at whatever form you can that feels good to you.
@JP54663 жыл бұрын

@ck31253 жыл бұрын
You're talking about one of the most genetically gifted bodybuilders of all time. Very similar to why Phil Heath can train so light. But for people with average genetics? Lol you gotta be fucking kidding me if you think you're going to grow lifting lightweights like a pussy. Levrone, Coleman, and Yates trained heavy because its effective. High risk but high reward. Also, MANY of the top bodybuilders today train low volume heavy weight high intensity. Ian Vaillere, Chris Bumstead, James Hollingshead, Nick Walker, Antoine Vaillant, Akim Williams, etc, etc, etc. Because it fucking works
So much no lift form police in the comment section. The thing you should look for is did they get the results they was looking for?
