SET: to put, lay, or STAND (something) in a specified place or position. (Indefinitely). To permanently “set” something in place means to NOT move it from that position for any reason. The word set in that regard means that something is incapable of moving. 📖 Colossians 3:2 📖 “Set” your MINDS on things above, NOT on (earthly) things. Even though we live in a fallen world that continues to evolve with every passing day, our spiritual MINDS are to remain steadfast on the Kingdom of Heaven, as if our minds were permanently “set” in that one position. When Moses had instructed God’s people to “STAND STILL” and see the SALVATION of the Lord, he was addressing their MENTAL paralysis to NOT give up and (keep) their minds “SET” on the Lord’s awesome power to deliver them from the clutches of their enemies. The phrase “Stand Still” was meant as a Godly command to their mental psyche and not to their physical bodies, because the Lord was moving their physical bodies from a place of brutal oppression to a place of physical rest. However, because of their persistent FEARS and UNBELIEF, they had foolishly forfeited their opportunity to enter into that place of rest. 📖 Exodus 14:13 📖 (KJV) “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, STAND STILL, and see the (salvation) of the Lord, which He (will) shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever” As Christians we experience unwanted FEARS when we (allow) our MINDS to be MOVED from a (secure place) of FAITH in Jesus Christ, into an unsecured place where we rely upon our OWN human abilities to make something happen for our good……which is considered sin in the sight of God when we do. 📖 Hebrews 3:19 📖 So we see that they were NOT able to enter, because of their (sinful) UNBELIEF. (Romans 14:23) As Christians we must acknowledge the TRUTH, that every Christian follower of Jesus Christ who plans on entering into HEAVEN, will (only) do so by maintaining an UNMOVABLE MINDSET from the TRUE teachings of Jesus Christ!! Wowwww this spoke to me on so many levels im currently feeling EVERYTHING in this sermon on all aspects of my life especially relationship and I know I need to let it go but I have 4 kids 3 by him but I’m getting shown that our love is not the same I need to accept the fact of being a single mom and being alone while trying to get my life together I just lost my dad in Oct and I’ve been so down I’m ready to get up, stand on it I want to get closer to god I need god real bad because I feel like I’m giving up on this battle I’ve started taking depression medicine just for the pain in my life and I don’t want to I just want my kids and I to be happy and blessed 😩🤧 how do I get closer to god I want to wake up and read the Bible and understand it I want to talk to god and feel the connection (I’ve only done that when I’ve spoke in tongues) but I’m so ready because I randomly picked this video to get a word in today and he was speaking to me the whole time 🙏🏽

But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” 8 And again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, “Woman, where are those thine accusers? It is in those moments that others may seek to condemn us, publicly expose our faults, or even attempt to destroy our reputation. In John 8:1-11, the scribes and Pharisees brought a woman caught in the act of adultery before Jesus, seeking to trap him by asking if she should be stoned according to the law of Moses. However, Jesus perceived their intentions and used this situation as an opportunity to teach a profound lesson. He stooped down and began writing on the ground. When they persisted, he stood and said, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” Then he stooped down again and continued writing. At this, the accusers were convicted in their hearts and left one by one, starting with the eldest. Finally, Jesus asked the woman, “Where are your accusers? Hath no man condemned thee?” When she replied, “No man, Lord,” Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” I once heard an interesting explanation of this passage. Though it may be conjecture, the idea is thought-provoking: some believe that Jesus may have been writing the sins of her accusers in the dirt. Seeing their own transgressions exposed, they became convicted and walked away. While we have no proof that this was the case, the story still emphasizes a critical truth-before condemning others for their sins, we must first examine ourselves. As Paul wrote in Galatians 6:1-2, “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” This teaches us that when someone has committed a wrongdoing, those who are spiritually mature should gently guide them back to the right path. This must be done with compassion and humility, being mindful of our own potential for sin. It is a call to address sin not with judgment, but with restoration and love. Let us all stay humble, remember Paul’s teachings, and strive to reflect the grace and mercy of Jesus in our actions.
