A rich man is a man who is willing to do almost anything to protect and preserve his tremendous wealth (Matthew 6:21). He may feel the way he does about his wealth because he believes that it can offer him a great deal of WORLDLY influence, financial security and power. The more money that he is able to accumulates unto himself, the more confidence that he will have about being able to enjoy his BEST LIFE NOW. He may even try to rationalize his relentless efforts to attain even more money than is actually needed for him to enjoy his temporal life, here on earth. Is this not how MOST people think when it comes to worldly success? This type of insatiable behavior is very common and sometimes expected from an unconverted world, but it is greatly DISCOURAGED in the true body of Christ, because Christ absolutely HATES it! 📖 Luke12:15-21 📖 15) Then He (Jesus) said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against ALL KINDS of greed; life does NOT consist in an abundance of (earthly) possessions.” 16) And He told them this (short religious story) parable: “The ground of a certain RICH man yielded an abundant harvest. 17) He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ 18) "Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build BIGGER ones, and there I will store my SURPLUS grain. 19) And I’ll say to myself, “You have PLENTY of grain laid up for MANY years. Take LIFE EASY; eat, drink and be merry.”’ 20) "But God said to him, ‘You FOOL! This very night your LIFE will be demanded from you. Lord I'm listening to this message 25/12/2023 and I had nothing at all in my house to give to my kids but yet you provide through others that just offers sweets, biscuits etc. Lord you are Holy and Mighty.
