This video shows details of 2 models. Viaduct and Ravine. They are working model railway scenes in oak cases. They use T-gauge format which is 1:450 scale and the worlds smallest working model railway system. These models are aimed at collectors and enthusiasts.

I like lively tiny dioramas that you can pick up and go. Now if those box models can be placed together to make seamless larger scenes would be perfect.

That train runs at 180 mph. Scale speed is correct.

Speed looks PERFECT to me. The intercity train went well over 125 miles an hour for goodness sake.

So it is possible to slow them down. All T Gauge I've seen before are shown comically fast, but this has caught my attention...

I wonder how the schenes would look like in darker conditions, such as low light... Or creating shadows with warmer spot light, like sunset or similar. Great video 🎉

Tracks on girder bridges should not have the ballast roadbed.

And they wouldn’t be so small either. Did you, by chance, notice that tracks for z-gauge are fabricated with ballast.

@@Traitorman.25th For a bridge section, the ballast should be stripped or at least trimmed to be less obvious.

@ Ah. Yes of course. That’s me. I would be reluctant to trim or adapt the tracks for fear of messing it up.

I totally dig the idea, but this layout is a bit too minimalistic for my taste. Seeing the train only do half a circle and then disappear doesn't do it for me. But the landscaping is beautiful, I give you that...!
