Kelantan (Malaysia) & Pattani, Songkhla, Narathiwat, Yala (Thailand) used to be under one kingdom,same people speak same Malay languange(google bahasa melayu kelantan) of course after long time separate there will be difference but in general kelantan people can speak english while malay thai people can speak siamese(usually they can't understand if u speak with heavy malay malaysian slang/accent)

Most Thai Malay have already been assimilated, they are speaking Thai, following Thai culture, using Thai Name, forced to change religion as Buddhist, mix Thai blood a lot of Thai Malay new generation don't know how to speak their own mother language

他们泰国马来人很多都已经不会讲马来话了，很久以前全都被同化了，就算用马来语跟他们沟通都也很困难，所以最好就跟他们讲英文，要不然就拿点简单的泰语跟他们沟通
