As a result *a plethora* of people in the US are addicted to opiates because the 12 hour duration didn't last that long so patients had to take more to feel less pain, which ended up in addiction. I trust The Bible more than science, more than man, more than the FDA. Scientists aren't as great as you think, they too seek money and grants and sometimes they falsify results and conclusions to get more funding. Some silly pictures in school textbooks are passed off as real evidence but if you read the fine print, they clearly state they are just artistic interpretations or artistic renderings. I have plenty of more examples to discuss if you want to keep going so feel free to respond.
