The guitar effect power supply I like to use is the TrueTone 1Spot. It has 1.7A, center-negative, 5.5x2.1mm and includes a splitter for 8 pedals. I use it to power Sega Genesis 1 and Mega CD at the same time, which frees up two MK-1602 adapters to use with other consoles. Also, they don't misspell cord as "chord" like they do on the Power-All. ;)
Awesome!! So those are more safe and protective with the console? They save a lot of space, very convenient! Question! can i use just one of those to power both famicom and disc system at the same time?
I do not have NEC PAD-124 for my PC Engine Duo so I used 5.5mm x 2.1mm Sega MK-1602 from my Genesis 1/Sega CD with an 6.3mm x 3.0mm tip from Console5. It works great! MK-1602 works great for my NES-001 "front-loader," NES-101 "top-loader," Family Computer, AV Family Computer, Super Famicom, PC Engine, Turbografx-16, Turbografx (European), Core Grafx, CD-ROM² drive, Turbo-CD drive, Master System, Genesis 1, Mega CD 1, Sega CD 2, Neo Geo AES (only 9-11v models!), and more. It is the most versatile adapter at 9v, center negative, 1.2A, with a 5.5mm x 2.1mm tip size. :)
