Well he’s right though. Aljo has zero explosivity in his striking. He basically doesn’t HAVE striking. He has lay and pray, holds, that’s it. And Cory was growing at that time. He came in with the wrong mentality. But he has an arsenal of unusual and dangerous explosive strikes. That IS more dangerous that a guy who will just hug you.

Idk if you saw the Ariel interview with TJ, but TJ said he had the same shoulder injury going into title fights and title defenses. Skill wise TJ is still up there but it’s hard to judge what ‘Prime’ TJ really is with the EPO. Was it only the Cejudo fight or was it before that too? But early 2020s TJ is still on the level of top contenders like Sandhagen even though who won is arguable

I'll be honest I didn't like Rampage at first because what he did to my favorite fighter ever Chuck Liddell. But after he was a coach on the ultimate fighter and seeing how hilarious he is and what kind of personality he had. He became one of my favorites and have followed his career ever since. Rampage is one of a kind and had some of the most devastating power in both his hands when he was in his prime. Hope this podcast blows up Rampage!!!

I seen Urijah Faber vs Aldo in WEC live at Arco arena, i remember ordering the PPV when Dillashaw beat Baroa for the belt as a late replacement and the whole family cheering on a great fight.
