I think it's a bad look when two grown fully functioning adults are sitting back playing house while asking someone else to pay their bills and support their lifestyle. Kevin, get a job and take care of your family. You and the child's mother are responsible for taking care of the household, stop looking at Wendy to do it. The payments have stopped, the free ride is over. Time to be self-sufficient. Have some pride.

True but ironically, it's no different then all of the countless number of times that male celebrities have had to continue to pay their ex spouses and maintain their lifestyle, despite if they were dating someone else. It just always seems to hit different to the ppl when it's the man receiving the money. I agree that he should have more pride but apparently he doesn't lol. Now I'm thinking Wendy may have intentionally went 'broke' just so she doesn't have to pay him anymore and if so, that's the level of petty that I can get behind lol.

I understand some parents aren't equipped to handle raising a child but after the damage is done and they did the best they could...I think an apology goes a long way. What mama Dee should've said in my humble opinion is... I apologize and I'm sorry I was not the best parent to you growing up. I'm sorry about your upbringing. I was learning and trying my best. I know it wasn't good enough for you but I tried and I am sorry that me trying wasn't enough. I apologize for any hurt and pain I cause you while figuring out myself and trying to be the best parent possible. ......... I think that would've been better than what she said. Sometimes adult children just need to hear you apologize for your past and the pain it cause them growing up looking up to you. An apology is really all he needed to heal.

Why does our community chooses to focus on legends/artist relevancy? Every artist is going to have times where their career levels off. It’s a myth to think that an artist is going to stay at the top forever. we have to stop devaluing are Black artists, they don’t do this in other genres. This is why hip-hop acts of the 80s and 90s have a hard time living off their success because people depreciate them, even though they have a classic records. Radio also is responsible, they play the same records over and over again.

I was 90s kid and listened to quite a few artists from that generation in which they have been almost therapeutic for me. I find it strange that the under 30 crowd wants to make older artist, less relevant when y’all are sitting around here, sampling their music? Is their not relevant any more than stop sampling their music. Leave the past in the past. Be creative and original with your own beats. Fair enough ?!
