I have my revvl 5 g phone for about 2 weeks I love the crystal clear phone calls on this phone and it stays in touch with the cell phone towers with no issues the Bluetooth system with the built-in stereo system sounds so good through the Bluetooth

Had my revvl 5g since March of this year and it recently got android 11. I had no issues with this phone, no lag and it plays games really well. I absolutely love it. Although the speakers were kind of terrible in terms of quality.

Ugh 😫 I've had this phone for 8 days and I think it's a manufacturer problem. I had no gallery, pics were being received blurry, call log never registering. I hope when the replacement comes I enjoy it more.

If they follow TCL's lead, one update is all you can expect. No official word though. I often tell buyers, if you aren't buying Pixel, you may want to settle with the OS you have when you buy. Not all manufacturers who even update their devices put out timely updates if they do at all. So, buyer beware.

@@dayvonn998 the snapdragon outperforms the dimensity in almost every measurement. the older version is a superior device, it just costs too much to make post-pandemic. most all of the Revvl 5G handsets had already been produced when the pandemic hit.

The screen is cracked up and the phone is not worth fixing.... It cost too much to fix the screen... LMFAO 🤣 I bought the Revvl 5g to replace my Google Pixel 3a.

Depends on if you have 5G in abundance where you are. That said, I don’t think 5G is a reason to upgrade from the OP7 Pro to the REVVL. If your OP7 Pro is still functioning fine and you like OnePlus I’d wait and go OP8 Pro.

How do you turn on WiFi calling

There's an icon for it in the quick settings menu. Tap on the icon which says "Wi-Fi Calling" and you should be good to go. If you don't see that icon, click on the pencil icon in the lower left of the quick settings menu which allows you to edit the options which show up there and you can add the WiFi calling shortcut. Hope that helps!

I've only had this phone for a month or so and I HATE it ! I have TMobile and it drops calls. My fb won't let me see comments or share half the time . My wifi comes and goes . I live in the city so there's no reason to only have 1 bar if I'm lucky.

Hit the Google Play Store and install Google’s own Contacts app instead. The REVVLs contacts app is more limited than Google’s. Just be sure that when you find the Contact app on the Play store that under “DEveloper” it says “Google.”

SPRINT/ T-Mobile sent me the new Revvl 5G free to replace my older HTC 10 do to dropping an old cellular frequency. What better way to force people to upgrade to a knew phone. The Revvl seems nice but sucks at taking sunrise photos unless you go into pro mode It's like I'm taking pictures in black & white. I tried my Galaxy Note plus right after and I got my sunrises in living color.. PS I loved In Living Color and wish the Wayans bros would consider a reboot lol Two Snaps In a Circular Motion. I'm hoping the Revvl gets a camera software upgrade as its kinda lack luster taking photos without using pro mode. My opinion the performance compared to my Galaxy Note 10 + it's ok for a free upgrade. The downside.. You need a case as the Revvl is too slippery.

The one thing that is good is the camera. I don't find that it's faster than my other cheaper revvl.absolutely DO NOT like and is a must have for me is to be able to customize your contacts photo and notifications and ringtones and this phone does not allow you the ability to automatically have a certain contact routed to voicemail. There's things that you cannot customize on this phone that I do not like. I like to have customized notification for text messages so that I don't have to necessarily look at the phone to know who's texting me. This phone cost so much they should have some of these very very basic things in its system I wish I could request them to add these changes in the next upgrade ASAP maybe you can let them know

There’s a very easy solution to this issue. You can hit the Google Play Store and download Google’s Contacts app by searching “Contacts” and choosing the app from developer “Google, LLC.” Now you’ll have all the options you’re looking for. Route to VM, custom ringtones, etc. If you want to stick with the stock TCL contacts app, for custom notifications for your contacts: Go into the Contacts app, then when looking at a specific contact in your address book, click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner and choose “Set Ringtone.” THat’s how you can set a custom ringtone for each contact. For sending specific contacts to voicemail, you’ll have to use Google’s app.

Good review - I'm seriously considering this phone as a 'bridge phone' to replace my cracked screen flagship phone until I am upgrade eligible again. --- A note on charge cables. Don't be fooled by the thickness of the cable - in itself, it's a negative. You've never had a cable fail anywhere other than the connectors, and neither has anyone else - it just doesn't happen. What a stiffer cable does is put more strain of the connectors. Best bet to make a more lasting cable, if you're prone to abusing them like I am, is to put shrink tube over the point where the cable connects to the connector. With 4:1 shrink tube. you should be able to get a tubing size big enough to slide over the connector and that will still shrink down to the cable diameter.

this is the worst phone I have ever had in my life, in fact the only time I've ever had issues with a phone. Had it and within a month it turned off by itself, it wouldn't turn on, I could dial out and since phone vibrates when someone picked up I couldn't hear them and they couldn't hear me. I couldn't text. Would never recommend this phone to anyone.
