Tan Weiwei was actually a replacement singer rather than a challenging singer. Since there were only 7 singers, she was invited to enter the competition directly rather than challenging for a slot, the same as Sun Nan in episode 4. She took first place this week as well 🙂 Since this week's challenging singer, Rukhiya, failed her challenge, no one was eliminated. It's always the person with the fewest votes who is eliminated though, so even if she had been a challenger and challenged Faouzia, Faouzia wouldn't have been eliminated.

@@Nauma3 yeah that's a bit unclear to me as well. 补位 means to fill a vacant slot, so I suspect it's meant to either increase the slots from 7 to 8 or force an elimination at the end of the round

FYI - She just joined the competition without challenging anyone just like Sun Nan did. The rules are always changing for evey episode. Everyone finds the rules super confusing
