湯布院駅の駐車場に駐車して湯布院駅から湯布院のメイン通りを散策して金鱗湖まで歩いてみました
観光地として有名な湯布院は日本一の温泉県・大分のほぼ中央に位置し全国2位といわれる源泉数・湧出量を誇る温泉をはじめ、名峰「由布岳」に見守られる湯布院。“九州の軽井沢”と呼ばれる人気の避暑地でもあります「狭霧台」や「金鱗湖」などの豊かな自然や「湯布院フローラルヴィレッジ」「辻馬車」などの個性的な観光も魅力です。
辻馬車は30年以上前に始まり、現在では湯布院観光の名物となっています。JR由布院駅を出発し、50～60分かけてゆっくりと湯布院の町を散策し、佛山寺、宇奈岐日女神社を経て駅に戻るコースがあります　馬車に乗って優雅の散策するのも人気の一つです　　由布岳の麓にある観光ストリートの通り沿いには、大分の特産品を販売している土産物店や、かわいい雑貨店やご当地グルメがいただける飲食店が多く、週末には行列ができるスイーツショップなどが軒を連ねています。由布院駅周辺から湯の坪街道を通り、金鱗湖周辺までは徒歩でおよそ30分の楽しい散策道。通りを1本外れた大分川沿いで、のどかな田園風景に出会うのも楽しみです　　
イギリスで最も美しい村といわれているコッツウォルズ地方の街並みや、季節ごとの花が咲き誇るイングリッシュガーデンを再現した英国風テーマパークも通れます。可愛いフクロウの手乗せ体験ができる「フクロウの森」や九州最大級の薔薇グッズ専門店、不思議の国のアリスに登場するチェシャ猫が住む森をイメージした猫カフェほか、女性専用の素泊まりホテル、入浴施設などもあります。
散策最後の金鱗湖は底の半分に温泉、もう半分には冷泉が湧き、冬でも水温が高いという不思議な湖。魚の鱗（うろこ）が光に反射して水面が金色に輝いて見えたことから、この名が付いたようです　秋から冬の早朝に見られる朝霧がとりわけ美しく、霧の正体は温泉を含んだ湖が蒸気したものと言われています。湖の周りには散策路も整備され、紅葉スポットとしても有名です。秋から冬の朝霧が幻想的でとても綺麗。早朝に行くのがオススメ

Tsuji carriage started more than 30 years ago and is now a specialty of Yufuin sightseeing. There is a course that departs from JR Yufuin Station, takes a leisurely stroll through the town of Yufuin for 50 to 60 minutes, and returns to the station via Bussanji Temple and Unagihime Shrine. Along the street of the tourist street at the foot of Mt. Yufu, there are many souvenir shops selling Oita's special products, cute general stores and restaurants where you can enjoy local gourmet food, and a sweets shop where you can line up on weekends. At the end of the walk, Lake Kinrin is a mysterious lake with hot springs in the bottom half and cold springs in the other half, and the water temperature is high even in winter. It seems that this name was given because the fish scales reflected on the light and the surface of the water looked golden. The morning fog seen in the early morning from autumn to winter was especially beautiful, and the true nature of the fog included hot springs. It is said that the lake was steamed. There are walking paths around the lake, and it is also famous as a spot for autumn leaves. The morning mist from autumn to winter is fantastic and very beautiful.
