T.O. put up great numbers but I only saw 1 real impactful season, that was his 1st year in Philly. Y'all know the pro football hof are really lenient towards players of winning teams. T.O. teams were 4-8 in playoffs. Had that record been the other way around T.O. would be seen in an entirely different light.

If one sits, and watches the full game start of finish it was pretty much a slog between two teams having lackluster seasons. But it was definitely a day to remember for 49ers fans with it being Jerry's last home game, and Owens getting his 20 catches. Glad that Pat, and Madden got to call this one. Also, the announcer for Rice as he's making his entrance said he was a 4x Super Bowl champ, when in reality he was a 3x Super Bowl champ.

Was Rice’s last game as a 49er the only reason why this was a Madden and Summerall game? Neither of these teams were good in 2000, the 49ers were 5-9 and the Bears were 4-10 going into this game. @Broncos952 - Funny you say that as a Broncos fan. I love Denver's classic Orange Crush and the 97 all blue look. Few Madden games offer the Broncos throwback all white away uniforms, so I try to use them in the Madden games which do. That 49ers uniform is the victim of the 90s edgy "attitude" trend. I think what I dislike most is the center red stripe with black stripes. Give me the classic white with red. Maybe I would have liked them if they had kept more red and white style with that updated gold and pattern.
