This is the truth. The reality is, his autotune is very difficult to do, he talks about it, it’s not just singing and auto tune, you have to sing “incorrectly” in a way to get his unique sound. He made a unique sound that is instantly recognizable, and created some of the greatest hits in hiphop and RnB, and is considered one the greatest hook writers of all time. This singing is beautiful but in many ways, not nearly as impressive as his “regular” sound

I first saw this a few days ago. I felt hypnotized! As i child my mom was a huge teddy pendergrass fanatic! Even at that young age his performances gave me goosebumps. That’s how I feel right now! Even in Harold Melvin and the blue notes he sang lead so often that There was no way to deny his talent. It seemed to come so effortlessly and he put every ounce of his soul into his music. Tpain is now my teddy!! I can’t stop watching this! Music has moved me to tears sometimes. Idk how or why. My mom took us to the opera when I was young. I teared up but I had no idea why? I hid it and was too embarrassed to mention it, A couple years later we went on a class trip to see Peter and the Wolf. The orchestration blew my mind. I began flute lessons immediately. I played for years, practiced religiously. I was honored with first chair the entire time I played. Idk why I moved away from music. It brought me the greatest joy, always. I’ve been in a slumber musically for quite some time. Great music really brightens any day. Jazmine Sullivan and sza have great natural and pure voices. I enjoy them. Music just isn’t the same. I’m 52 so there are so many incredibly popular songs and artists that I just don’t get. My true inspiration came from bugs bunny and old cartoons when I was really young. I always felt soothed by the music composition. I didn’t even know what an orchestra was. I loved the way it made me feel. This is the first time, in a long time, that I’ve been blown away and awestruck. His range, runs and all of his very soul flows so purely, genuinely…it is second nature to him. It’s so weird finding out this late in the game but better late than never. I am just delighted to have been introduced to his pure talent. Sorry to run on and on but you must know that you’re not alone. I can’t count how many times a day I’ve listened to this and now I’m going to binge watch the masked singer he was in right now. 😉 I’m hooked and it feels GOOD!

Always knew he could sing...I don't even think he used autotone in all his songs. He has a very unique voice that goes well with autotone.

I have a new found respect, where there was none, for Mr. T Pain's vocals. Beautiful job! From now on, THATS how you sang. An old, new fan. Thanks.

T Pain just continues to prove he never needed auto-tune. To him, it was just a creative tool like reverb or distortion. His impact on the industry was always going to be legendary!

I hear rather go blind when I hear this song start every time. It’s funny educating people on this and I was disappointed he didn’t give her credit but gave George Jones credit when accepting an award for Tennessee Whiskey

It’s a David Allen coe song lol

@@Illinois_Logan yes the lyrics are… but it is those lyrics over an Etta James song. Which he refuses to give credit to.

I relate to this song so much from the women's perspective. It is not easy when you love someone to try and save them from themself and you can only hope they see that you love them enough to actually care. It is so hard to stick it out when they don't see because of their own experiences. You can only hope that they really see you as a loved one who truly cares.

What a lot of ppl don't know is you have to be able to sing decently to make autotune work well. HE IS and has ALWAYS BEEN one of the industry's best singers, most ppl just didn't know it. Here's the proof! T-Pain is NOT A GAME! Love his evolution!
@gsisemore9 ай бұрын
What’s most incredible is that T-Pain will end up having the most longevity of any rapper during the 2000s because he has a generational singing voice that will last him the rest of his life. I can easily see t pain still releasing music 20 years from now that I would enjoy listening too.

When I seen Snoop use his replay I honestly had tears . It was just so moving and giving her a chance showed how humbly grateful she was for the opportunity to be picked . Snoop I’ve been a day 1 fan and I love how Snoop is everywhere on so many platforms with a legendary name in Entertainment still booked and busy . People at his age in entertainment hope and wish they could have the Snoop effect to do whatever he likes in commercials. Olympics spokesman , Superbowl performance, have tv shows and brands , music so much .
